The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Rooms are large and clean with large lanais. Lots of activities on offer and best for families. They seemed a little short-staffed over the holidays so service was a bit challenged at times. Having said that, staff were very friendly, especially Karen on the front desk, Nikko on the walking tour and Boyse at the omelette station. Only negative is limited dining options at he resort and nearby.

The property was maintained very well, the rooms were spacious, clean and had a good view of the pool and ocean. On the flip side, the property is called a Spa resort but the Spa was out of order. This is Not acceptable, especially when the charges remain the same.

The hotel location is great to be on the ocean but about 20 minutes from the downtown where all the restaurants are located. The service was not great, probably because of the new year crowd. Overall it was a good hotel for the price.

Beautiful resort on the island! The only thing I recommend is getting a car if you are staying here. Getting anywhere requires transportation and Ubers aren’t always easy to get.

The property is good location. We used the small market inside the hotel to buy toothbrush and paper plates. We walked to the Fair Wind snorkel tour from the house. The pool area is huge and my kid loved the water slide. The only issue is there are cockroaches in the room.

We absolutely love the outrigger. We stay here every time we visit Kona. The location is amazing. We love Kesha bay. Love the outrigger swimming pool is amazing with the waterslide beautiful sunsets. Next time we want to check out the luau.

Booked 2 rooms with 2 beds and put us in rooms with one bed. Front desk staff couldn’t help when I came back to correct. Had to wait for a manager who I will say was very nice and helpful. Towel desk had no towels 4 times over a 24 hour period including first thing in the morning. Did not come to clean the room until after 4:00 every day. Tried to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and was told no waiting list but rather to go online and make a reservation over could order at the counter and sit in the bar area. Thankfully a bartender was extremely nice and did not make us do that. Meanwhile 2 hosts stood there the entire time we ate and did nothing. Tried to rent snorkel gear first thing in the morning and was told it was being cleaned. Not sure why it was not cleaned the night before and ready to go.
