The house was very well kept in a large property attached to the lake. The owners had a park model attached to the house by a breezeway and were seldom noticeable. When we had a question, they responded through vrbo quickly and thoroughly.
The place was stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and basic supplies and condiments… along with a welcoming gift of a bottle of wine and chocolates. The house was updated and in good shape. It had a nice deck on the main floor as well as another deck connected to the upstairs bedroom, which was huge! The main floor had a large eating area with a dining area and sitting room Downstairs were double bunks, as well as a bathroom. There were two queen beds upstairs in two separate bedrooms as well as a large bathroom and laundry room.
To get to the lake, we had to walk on grass to a short dock leading to the water. They provided a small motorized (10 hp, I think) fishing boat as well as a pedal boat. We used both every day.
The community has only about 500 residents and is a rural area. A general store is about 1.5 km away It has a liquor store and some basic food supplies, as well as ice cream cones!
It was one of my best vrbo experiences. I’m going to try to do it again in the future.
