KC Hotel We had MULTIPLE problems with our room, from the time we have checked in to now and we still have another night. When we checked in, they were not sure they had a room for us and it was 4:30 pm. From what we are aware, checkin was 3:00 pm. They gave us keys and we went to our room. When we tried to enter the room, the door would not unlock. We went to the front desk and they said they would send someone down. A man walked down in front of us and asked if we were in “there” too and we said we are waiting because we can’t get into our room. We waited at least 10 minutes and kept trying but could not get in. We went back to the front desk and she called to if they were close to our room, 128. The man who walked down in front of us came out of the room across the hall eating and said, do you need help? This was the same man who saw us earlier. He offered us no help at that time. He acted as if we were an inconvenience and talked to us like we didn’t know how to unlock a door. He said, “sometimes they stick but you just have to slow down, he tried and it did NOT open. We left at 11 the NXT day and returned at 5 to our room being open with no one around. The front desk called housekeeping, they had problems with the lock too. Apparently they finished and left it open. We do not know how long it was like that and who had access to our room. We could not file a complaint because the front desk did not properly register us and our reservation # was invalid

I have never had such trouble getting checked in. They apparently had computer issues, but were willing to take 25.00 more to let me check in after 2 pm when check in was at 3. This was our go to place to stay near Legands. They won’t have my business again. They had better step up their game with all the activities in that area.

Woke up to ants in the bed and all over night stand. Property needs repair work done to it. Showed pictures to staff of ants, no offer of any kind of reimbursement.

We arrived to find a line waiting for check in. One of the ladies behind the desk was playing with her phone. The one who waited on us was frustrated with the computer and used profane language. We arrived in our room to find a staff member still cleaning it, but she failed to notice that the drapes over the window had fallen down. They gave us a room switch and we stayed only because rooms were hard to find in the area.

The property was run down and needed to be upgraded. There were stains on the carpet throughout the halls. The chlorine in the pool was so strong we had to open the windows and doors because our eyes kept watering even though we were not swimming. I paid $240 for the room which, based on the condition should have been less than $100.
