Another wonderful stay!
This was my sixth time staying at Waipouli Beach Resort and the second time to stay in this unit, and I couldn't have been happier. The unit and property were clean and quiet, and I felt at home. As with my previous stay, the owners were readily available via messaging to answer any questions I may have had during my stay. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to stay here again!

Great Property
This was a great property to stay at. It was clean, and they had great amenities for children. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, a small ice chest, beach toys, towels, and a community sunscreen bin. It is a little loud if you keep the door open because the kitchen is right there, but it was great.

Great place with everything you need!
The condo has everything you need - plenty of towels, washer/dryer, spices, starter coffee, snorkels, boogie boards, beach towels, a cooler, even a life jacket! Location is great, walking distance to old Kapa’a village, Safeway and Coconut Marketplace with shopping and great food. The condo property itself had a fantastic pool, multiple hot tubs, a decent workout facility and on site access to a paved trail along the beach that goes for MILES. It is very centrally located so we were able to see virtually every part of the island and never drive more than 35 minutes. We never heard from our hosts other than check in info (code, etc) but never needed to contact them because everything was PERFECT. Would love to stay here again someday!

Incredibly stocked, tastefully decorated, beautiful woodwork. This unit with doors closed was super quiet. Never heard a neighbor in adjacent rooms. Pool gets a bit noisy, but that is expected. Hope to return soon, very relaxing stay.

Wonderful place!
We really enjoyed our stay! The place was super clean! (I’m super picky!) The owners have extra beach chairs, sand toys, cooler, etc. available for use, which was so nice! Also, a limited supply of laundry detergent, dryer sheets and pantry items were available. Those kinds of details mean so much! The nicest beach VRBO we have stayed in!

Alaskans retreat to Kauai
We had a great stay! Condo was exactly as pictured. Stocked with beach chairs, small ice chest, sand toys etc. The pool on site was a huge hit for the kids. Loved having a kitchen and Safeway across the street for easy cooking. The hosts are great, fast with responding to questions/requests. Book it, can't go wrong with this vrbo!

My husband and I stayed for four nights with our two grandsons and we had a fabulous time! We made memories here that we will never forget. The location is perfect, the pool is beautiful and the white, sandy beach is fantastic. The unit is well equipped with high end appliances and we were very comfortable staying there.

Great location and view!
Perfect one-bedroom condo for myself, my wife, and our 1-year-old daughter. Great view of the pool and peek-a-boo view of the ocean. The resort as a whole is fantastic -- the pool includes multiple hot tubs and a lazy river and the resort has a nice on-site restaurant. The A/C was a little inconsistent but we were able to have it serviced mid-stay. Property was as-advertised. Kapaa is located at the half-way point between Poipu and Princeville/Hanalei, making day trips around the island accessible. Thanks!

The condo had many amenities which is not usually the case. Much appreciated. The only thing I would say is it could use a deep clean. Things that are overlooked but can become gross over time. We stayed here when it first opened 14 yrs ago. It’s still a lovely spot.

Excellent stay
We had an awesome stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort. The condo is very comfortable, very clean and thoughtfully appointed. We had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The location of the unit is great, overlooking the beautiful pool and a peek-a-boo ocean view. The balcony could use a little attention as the flooring is tearing up so we didn’t utilize it much. It does look into the kitchen of Oasis as well but we didn’t mind. It was fun to watch the makings of such delicious meals. The only other thing to note is Wi-Fi isn’t the strongest. We were most impressed by the attention staff take to the grounds of the resort. Every morning a crew of people are cleaning, organizing and making sure every detail of the property is cared for. And it shows. The location of the resort is fantastic for exploring the island, proximity to the airport and right across the street from a Safeway. Plenty of restaurants around as well. We will definitely be back to visit this fantastic resort. PS, don’t miss the amazing sunrise from the beach. It’s a special way to start your day.

Our favorite family-friendly condo unit
My wife and I have been coming to Kauai for the past 16 years. We’ve stayed at a few different resorts and condos and spent the last several years renting condos at Waipouli Beach Resort because the location is great and our boys (ages 6 and 8) enjoy the pool and slides. Our kids love exploring the grounds, catching frogs and lizards, walking the beach, and going to feed the fish in the pond every morning with the security guard. Of all of the places we’ve stayed in Kauai, this unit has been the best! These are some of the most thoughtful hosts - they have tons of food staples, kitchen tools, beach supplies, and even baskets for leftover items that travelers might use (sunblock, bug spray, dryer sheets, etc). Our kids loved the boogie boards and we appreciated the chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and Keurig (they also had an assortment of snorkeling gear, sand toys, water shoes, etc). From the balcony, you have a full view of the pool and a pretty decent ocean view as well. We will definitely be staying here again.

Kapa’a and the Robohead experience.
Kapa’a is a lovely location on the Island. We found listings of small local bars/restaurants from the inter tube rafting experience. The rafting was wonderful. Out host and condo were just what we wanted, helpful and gracious. An excellent stay and great location.

Nice central location, gorgeous pools with sand bottom jacuzzis, fantastic swimmable and boogie boarding beaches within a few minutes drive. The large unit was great for a couple to spend plenty of downtime over the week and a half stay without getting claustrophobic. Extremely smooth process overall and happy with the choice

We loved our stay at this condo unit! So spacious and the pool, gym and bbqs are great. We liked being halfway roughly between the North and South shores for easy drives to either. Our only notes are that the kitchen for the restaurant is very close to the unit and can be a bit noisy and smelly. Also the view is mainly of the pool with a small bit of ocean. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Wonderful location for young family!
My wife, two kids (3yo & 2yo), and I spent 4 nights at the end of April 2023. The condo was immaculately clean, and everything was upscale and high quality. Definitely a really comfortable and convenient home base! As terrific as it was, I'd recommend spending at least a week. Kauai being the rainiest island, you can expect to be rained out some days. We really appreciated all the extras included with the condo. Cooler, beach chairs & umbrella, snorkeling gear, lots of sand toys, water shoes (different sizes), & a small booster seat. The only things I could think to add would be some fins, as well as a portable crib, but we were grateful for everything. I'd say the booster seat is only good for a child up to 30 lbs. You might want to bring/rent snorkel gear, since it was showing its age, as were the beach chairs. We brought a portable crib and were able to just fit it in the little 2nd bathroom. It was nice to close the doors for light/sound, but the downside is that the bathrooms have no AC vents, so we eventually needed to open the doors to keep it cool enough in there. The condo sits on the second floor and overlooks the pool area with a bit of a view to the ocean. Overall one of the best unit locations on the property, the only downside being that the restaurant's kitchen is right below, so there's some of that noise and activity while you're outside on the lanai at night. The pool area is as nice as the pictures make it look. It never felt all that busy or crowded during our stay. Our 3yo son absolutely loved the waterslides. He did them dozens of times. For older kids though, they are basic waterslides and probably wouldn't hold their attention for too long. One thing that surprised me was the pool's water temperature. It honestly felt as cold as the ocean, and that did seem to keep most people out of it and in the hot tubs instead. Not sure why they don't keep the pool a few degrees warmer. One really nice thing is they have two adult hot tubs and a family hot tub. The family hot tub is held at a lower (still hot) temperature so kids can use it. We did both Lydgate Park and Poipu Beach, which were perfect for the young kids. I'd recommend bringing the water shoes to Poipu. Wailua Shaved Ice across the street is phenomenal. Waimea Canyon is a must-see. We did the plantation train ride, which was a great activity for our young kids. I'd recommend stocking up on some food at Costco first, then use Safeway when needed. Enjoy!
