Quiet, close to everything
This was our fourth stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort, and unit C-201 may have been our favorite. It is close to the parking, to the pool, and to the morning koi feeding. It is in a corner, so there is less hallway noise. It is far enough from the street that it doesn’t get much of that noise, either. (Note: we are city dwellers, so our bar for noise may not be in the same place as everyone else’s.) Importantly, when issues arose, the Kauai Calls team responded very quickly! Great stay overall.

The check in process was seamless. Communication was at the perfect cadence - enough information when needed and quick responses to the follow up questions. The place was clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed to have a great time - even beach chairs and a cooler. Location was super convenient across from the grocery store, delicious shave ice, McDonald’s and several coffee shop/food options. The pools are clean and were not crowded. Property is on a bike path/walking trail. And of course on the ocean.

Great 2 bedroom unit ideally suited for a family of 4 with 2 adult children. Clean and well stocked. Supermarket and Starbucks literally across the street (but the local coffee shops are better!). The pool area was great and beach was right there. Great walking path along the ocean too. The Oasis restaurant on property was excellent too. We liked the Kapaa location as it was a good base to explore the North and South shores. Close to the airport too. Definitely recommend

Location, Location and Luxury
Another couple, my husband and I stayed at Waipouli Beach Resort and loved it. The condo was so well built, inviting and clean, with perfect space and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The pool area is spectacular and very well maintained, and we used the poolside bbq grills, which were excellent. Having Safeway right across the street was a godsend--we just walked over for groceries. And Lihue stores like Costco are just minutes away. From Waipouli Resort, you can also walk for miles or ride bikes, with a marked paved path system that takes you seaside and to shops, downtown, restaurants and a really lovely walkway north of Kapaa overlooking the ocean. Visiting places like north coast Hanalei and southern beaches are easy daytrips from here. You can't beat this location. Our condo management was responsive to questions and check in was hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a fantastic time and we plan to return again! Overall, our condo was everything we needed it to be, and I would be happy to stay there again. The whole unit was clean, well kept, and had more than enough furnishings and comfort creatures that helped create a relaxed stay! The beds were comfy, kitchen utilities all worked well, the resort as whole was in great shape and clearly well tended too. We swam in the pools every day, and having the outside bbq grills available was a nice bonus, too. Inside the condo, we really appreciated having the beach chairs to use during our stay, as well as the cooler! If I had anything to critique; our check-in was a little confusing at first. It was partly my fault as I did not read the email in full from "Kauai Calls." I just assumed we could go straight to the resort and that they would check us in. But rather, there's not a desk person at the resort because all units are managed or owned independently, so make sure you read the emails and know how to get to your condo/unit! Also, the a/c will not run if any of the doors are open, which makes perfect sense! But a little note about that next to the control unit could help the next guests. The only update I would/could suggest would be to have a Keurig in the kitchen instead of only a regular brewer simply for convenience and less waste! Until we can return! Mahalo 🌺🙌

This was a pleasant place to stay and had all the amenities that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great! It's always nice to be able to do laundry and cook in a full kitchen during a longer stay. There were plenty of bathrooms in the unit which always makes life easier!

Great location and beautiful property
Location is a short drive from the airport, walked across the street for groceries, Starbucks, souvenirs, shopping, and the best shave ice and dole whip! The property was so well kept, with a beautiful pool area and garden, our kids enjoyed the water slides and sand bottom hot tubs and sand beach pool. Restaurant onsite was fabulous! We walked to the beach on the property each morning for sunrise, then played in the waves and it was peaceful at night to watch the ocean by moonlight. The grills worked great for dinner by the pool! Rooms were perfect for our family of 6 with a big kitchen and high end appliances! Washer and dryer worked great! Tubs and showers had great water pressure and hot water for us all to shower. Loved all of the windows and lanei seating for coffee and breakfast. Parking was great and close to our room. We would absolutely stay here again as our first choice on the island!

Family vacation
We had a fantastic time. The location is perfect. You can go any direction and be to your destination shortly. There are stores and shops right across the street. The private beach is a nice addition. Dinner at the Oasis was amazing! Highly recommend it. The property is well maintained and managed. The pool and saunas were awesome. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The property was even nicer than expected. Large bedrooms rooms, and bathrooms and comfy beds made it comfortable for all of us. The location is central to all the activities we wanted to do on the island and the supermarket is right across the street. We used both the pool and the beach and we’re treated to a pair of monk seals on the beach one morning. Would stay again.

This condo provided everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some tupperwear for those u expected leftovers. The pool was an amazing addition we we wanted a break from the sand. Access to the beach was easy and wonderful. I will definitely be coming back.

Best Place in Kauai
We had a fantastic time at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Perfect pool and water slides for kids as the beach is hard to get in due to the coral/rocks. Condo was very nice with a well furnished pantry. Grill is a community grill beside the pool. The owners were easy to get a hold of! Would highly recommend this resort due to the central location of everything on the island.

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our time reconnecting with friends while in Kauai! Everything we possibly needed and then some and the location was ideal for getting everything we needed and getting to/from places with no problems. Kids loved the pool and the slides and adults liked walks on the beach and dining at Oasis, restaurant on site. It’s also walking distance to supermarket and other shops/restaurants nearby as well as a central location for exploring all of Kauai :)

Kauai No Ka Oi!
This was our second stay at the Waipouli Beach Resort through Kauai Calls, and again we had a wonderful time (despite the weather on this trip). Candace is very responsive, the check-in/out procedures were simple, and the unit was clean and stocked with amenities. The beach chairs were particularly appreciated. I like the Kapaa area because it is slightly less touristy than Hanalei and Poipu, is centrally located, and has plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely book through Kauai Calls again.

Responsive management
The condo is well equipped with beach equipment and the kitchen had better and more items than we’ve experienced in other condos. The management was responsive to concerns that we had during our stay. Condo is as described. Families with children will enjoy the pool and the convenient location of the building. I would tell people considering renting that noise from the Kuhio Hwy can be heard when the patio doors are open. I must also comment on the management’s honesty and accommodation. Once we vacated the condo we realized we had left a large sum of cash in one of the bedside tables. We contacted management who responded AND retrieved the cash to mail to us. We were so impressed with them as we assumed the cash would be gone. I would rent from Kauai Calls again.
