Very good option at Katy Mall.
It was a short 2 day stay but La Quinta fulfilled the need for those 2 days. I liked the breakfast (Included). I had to interact with 2 girls at the reception, one of them very kind and friendly, the other one not. No Names. Room cleans up service was very good.

My room had two issues in the bathroom - constant commode dripping & faucet with almost no water pressure. The alarm was not turned off and went off at 5am. My personal alarm was set for 6:15am.

We came in late thinking Katy Mills would be a nice safe location and expected it to be our usual La Quinta experience. The first room we walked into smelled overwhelmingly of cat urine, they switched our room only for us to realize it was something with the air conditioning units and the second room didn’t smell as bad, but still reeked. The staff was very helpful, but the second room definitely wasn’t cleaned adequately and he apologized, but I’m not confident the sheets were clean. If it hadn’t been so late and we hadn’t already unloaded our small kids after 15hrs on the road, we’d have requested a refund and found another place.
