Good lighting in front for parking, elevator are fast, cleanliness bery bad, found dog wrapped around bed, found someone's JEANS hanging behind bathroom door. Pool was advertised by the hotel but was closed saying mechanical problems which is always an excuse, i made a mistake by choosing Sandman over Best Western. Asked for discount for pool closed but front desk says i am already paying less than the rates, which is because I used my points dumb. Property looks good from outside but the staff is going to break it.

We specifically booked this hotel so our kids could play in the pool after a long day of back to school shopping. When we checked in we saw the pool was closed and there was no explanation. Very disappointing!

We chose this hotel as we liked the swimming pool on the picture. However to our disappointment and more to my daughter aged 6, the pool was under renovation (it seemed) since July and the staffs informed that Expedia should have advised us so that we could have changed the hotel but we were never notified! We would appreciate a credit back.

The room carpet stunk and smelled dirty, the poor was not open even though I specifically choose the hotel for the pool and found out after I checked in that the pool wasn't open; I feel this kind of information should be communicated to customers prior to booking because the pool is a big reason why some customers chose to book with the hotel.

Room carpet was soaking wet between the bed and window, due to air conditioner freezing and thawing. The power went out when using the blow dryer. Area around the hotel surrounded by homeless folks. Overall was fairly dirty. Booked online expecting a pool and hot tub, on arrival was advised they have not been working for the past month and no idea when they would be repaired. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The pool was closed which was a bummer as our room faced the pool. Made it hard for the kids to see the pool, but not be able to go swimming. The front desk did offer to try out H20 which is a water park close by; which was a really incredible experience! The side entrance for the building was nice so we didn't have to enter from the lobby, however the hallways were strangely hot. There was no elevator to the second floor, which was another bummer as we had kids with little legs and lots of luggage.

Lets be honest - the lifetime of this property is over. Its over 6 years ago. I stayed here 2 time, and i just confirmed it. Dislike: 1) Electronic keys are terrible. The system is old and i had to program keys every single day multiple times a day. This is not a room problem, the main door i could not open either. 2) Parking: why you let park big fuel truck at your property? This is not a truck stop. They took 4 car slots, and secondly its not safe when a fuel truck parked under the windows. Nobody is in charge in parking. 3) Old 2 story building. You can't keep it up to time. You have to destroy and build a new one. You don't need to fix a pool, wasting of money. You will keep waste money on more maintenance. 4) I asked to let me stay in a new tower, but they said in whole building, 10 story - they don't have rooms with 2 queens beds. I don't believe, but ok, i can't prove it. Overall: Kelowna is over priced. All hotels are pricy and don't worth the cost.

I have stayed at the property multiple times, but I had a bad experience the last weekend I was there with my family holiday. First of all the hotel’s pool and hot tub was closed and not mentioned on the website till the date of arrival. Additionally, they have 3 buildings and we had a hard time finding our room considering no proper guidance was provided by the staff. At last the room had a smell as if it is not cleaned properly and there were no glasses in the room.
