Our getaway is great for those looking to go wine tasting, guys/gals retreat to go golfing, couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

If you are looking for a comfy, relaxing, quiet private home on 5 acres to enjoy the Texas hill country book the Wine Country Oasis.

If you are looking for some much needed friend time with a pool, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit at the Hudson House can provide that at our fenced in 2 acres Getaway.

Wine Country Oasis also has upgraded amenities such as: master bath 6 shower head extra large walk in shower, great for honeymoon get-a-ways! Jet tub and two sinks with vanity counter.

Master bedroom includes: TV, end tables with USB outlets, direct access to the outside deck, and pool.

Large guest room (main floor) includes: TV, desk, closet.

Upstairs guest room includes: (2) full beds, (1)futon sofa bed, half bath, TV, closet.

In great room there is a fold out sofa bed with the most comfy gel sofa mattress. Far more comfortable than the average sofa bed.

Kitchen: fridge, gas range oven and stove, ninja blender, coffee pot, keurig, french press, basic kitchen cooking and baking needs, we do not have an ice maker bring ice!, grilling utensils, and filtered water.

Garage Game room includes: pool table, foose ball table, ping pong table, small workout equiptment, Entertainer's large L-shape sofa, 70 inch TV, two bar top pub tables (both that have checker boards on the table top!

Our home is priced as other like-kind high amenity homes in the Hill Country. ($25 a person, per night after the first two guests.

Ladies Weekend trip
The property was very nice, serene, and close to town. The infinity pool was an added bonus however, the hot tub was not functioning and wasn’t available to use. It was perfectly located for winery tours which is what our group did. Loved the property and would definitely rent again. My only recommendation would be to update the patio umbrella as one of the stand legs was broken and have a bin for the recreational pool floats.

Second time to stay here. Price had really increased. Needs a place for master bedroom guests to hang clothes up. This is a great place for a family. Nice game room. Enjoyed the hot tub. This complaint is for VRBO. The cleaning rates are really high on all their properties.

The property was beautiful and secluded so you can enjoy the much needed peaceful getaway with family. Our pups were welcome and loved racing around the yard. The pool was big and clean and the spa was a wonderful addition, especially in the cold weather. Overall, a fabulous stay.

Very nice property just not so clean especially the yard and pool
I loved it how ever. The yard was only partially cut. Broke mower in the yard. The pool was dirty at check in and pool guy had to come out. Lots of dead plants everywhere, entrance, yard and pool area. The inside of the house was beautiful other than 1 damage door blind and all ceiling fans and air conditioning vents were pretty dirty.

We had these grand plans over our five-day stay to visit surrounding towns and some tourist spots. But once we checked in and shut the driveway gate, the pool beckoned. I did not leave the property again until we checked out. The kitchen offered everything we needed to cook the food we brought along, and the smart TV in the family room was Netflix-ready. I loved that the almost 1 1/2 acres surrounding the home was fenced and safe for our miniature dachshund to roam free. We had a few unexpected maintenance issues that needed attention during our stay, but both the property owner and property manager were easily accessible by text or call and did what they could to make it right. My one regret was that the spa adjacent to the pool was never warm--they were having some trouble with the control panel. They did send a technician out on our last full day, but he was unable to fix the problem. I typically do not select rental properties during my VRBO searches that don't have an outdoor hot tub, so this feature was one of my priorities. We had two cool-ish evenings (even in this hot-as-Hades July) where a hot tub would've been really nice. The best feature in the house, however, is the primary bathroom SHOWER! I've never experienced any like it--with speakers for your iPod, too! It was heaven.

Great house for a large family
We loved this house! It was comfortable and clean! Huge master suite was a definite hit, as was the pool. Location is nice if you want quiet but still close enough to town for shopping and dinning. We definitely enjoyed!

My husband & I stayed here for our anniversary & got to bring our 2 fur babies along.. it was absolutely perfect. This house was clean, the beds were comfy, and the game room was fun. Our favorite things about this house were the hot tub and the shower! It’s stunning here. Quiet & private but only 5 minutes from town!

NYE Trip
We had a family trip over NYE and couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing place to ring in the new year! We all loved the expansive yard (fully fenced in) to run around. The kids loved the swing out back! We were able to take advantage of the hot tub, and one braved a quick dip pool. For 4 adults, 3 kids under 3, and a dog there was plenty of space for everyone! We already can't wait to go back!

Had a wonderful week at the Hudson House in Kerrville! Close to everything we needed and plenty of room to unwind and relax, whether indoors or out. Would definitely stay again if visiting the Kerrville area. House manager, Beth was very pleasant & helpful when we had a question. Had a lovely time celebrating our daughter’s wedding weekend. However, the owner unjustly accused us of leaving the fire pit burning all night. Mind you, we left the afternoon before for wedding festivities and got home too late to enjoy the fire pit. I think I was able to convince her that she was mistaken (followed later by an apology), but such an unnecessary worry during what was an otherwise great stay.
