Beachfront at beautiful Anini Beach, this fabulous home is truly a paradise. Perfectly designed to take full advantage of its premier location, Kai Hale is surrounded by a lush, Hawaiian garden and meticulously manicured landscape.

Attention to detail is obvious both indoors and out. Every room has wonderful ocean views and the lavish use of marble and hardwood throughout this split-level home adds to its elegance. Nearly disappearing glass walls on two sides of the great room open onto the spacious wrap-around lanai where it is easy to enjoy the gentle ocean breezes.

Step down from the lanai to the gardens and beyond to the beach and ocean. Have a picnic lunch, build sandcastles, stroll along the coastline or simply lounge on the warm sand and let the waves roll in. Watch offshore for humpback whales in winter and playful dolphins year-round. After a dip in the ocean or walk down the beach, you will appreciate the convenience of the outdoor shower.

Seemingly endless Anini Beach has a large, offshore reef and is well known for a variety of ocean activities including windsurfing, fishing, seasonal swimming and snorkeling. On Sundays during polo season, you can cheer on your favorite team during afternoon matches at the Anini Polo Field.

Among this home's many amenities are a gourmet kitchen and gas barbecue grill for creating your favorite island meals. You may want to visit some of Kauai's "sunshine" and farmer's markets for fresh, local fruits and vegetables to enjoy during your visit. The Best Thanksgiving
No turkey ,included,but the best Thanksgiving we have probably ever had! The house had plenty of room for the 6 of us. And the area had plenty to do for everyone. The small beach in front of the house was perfect and I didn’t realize until the last day how spectacular the snorkeling was. Our first few days the ocean was to rough to get in,but it did calm down our last few days! The house will awe you with the spectacular view and not to mention the unbelievable landscaping has to be the best on the Island! And word of advice on what to do, Don’t miss a helicopter ride!

Beautiful Property
We were looking for a quiet, get-away to relax and enjoy Kauai and this property was a perfect fit. Stunning views, quiet beach in front of the property, snorkeling with turtles 10 feet from the beach. Only downside is that the property is adjacent to a public beach so it can be loud at times (especially on a holiday weekend). But overall - 5 stars!

Wonderful vacation house on a beach
Beautiful house with everything you may need for a great vacation on a beach (including the beach!!): well-positioned bedrooms, porch, grill, kitchen, clean and fresh towels, washer/dryer, etc. We immensely enjoyed this week on Kauai and would love to stay in this house again!!!!

Beautiful view with lovely landscaping which gives privacy from nearby park access.
This home was top of the line when built in 1998, and it still is lovely. Being 25 years old, it could use a little refresh, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. The retracting glass doors open for a full inside/outside living experience. The landscaping is meticulous, but be very careful of the lovely stone pavers lining the entry. Two of us suffered falls with one sustaining a badly pulled ankle ligament which led to a loss of mobility and a lot of ice and elevation. Not the best way to start a vacation. Some attention should be given to recessing these down to ground level. Be prepared to supply extra TP and paper towels if you have a full house, and toiletries other than hand soap are not supplied. The beach, only steps away, is a pretty and peaceful protected cove that can get a bit noisy on the weekends, but the landscaping provides privacy nicely without obstructing the ocean views. Overall an enjoyable stay in a lovely home.

A Dream Come True
The moment we walked up the stairs to the main great room with panoramic views of the ocean, I wanted to cry. I had done so much research for just the right place for our family of 4...And the house was better than the pics. I want to come back every year. It was absolutely perfect.

A great family rental house
The house was very clean, right on the beach, had all the little house necessities supplied - toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, laundry soap and softener sheets, hand soap, dishwasher soap, coffee makers, etc. There were tons of beach supplies. (Beware of leaving anything on the beach - we left 3 chairs and they were stolen.) The warm outdoor shower is awesome. The beds were comfortable. The evening sea breeze was usually enough to cool us off, but a couple nights were a little warm and stuffy. The yard is beautifully landscaped.

Great family home.
Pro's- All the glass windows looking out onto the ocean from almost every room in the house, the sandy beach front, views off all the decks, the amazing landscaping, .the privacy and all the comfortable furniture and beds. Con's- Dishwasher needs to be upgraded and trying to figuring out the lighting was interesting.

Exactly as advertised! The location is perfect, right on the reef protected beach, perfect for snorkeling even in the winter when the surf is up. The house is wonderfully laid out, the beds EXTREMELY comfortable and the kitchen fully appointed. You cannot go wrong here...it is a wonderful 5 star property. We will return

Very Happy Experience
I was pleasantly surprised by how great the house was. I have been to Kaui more than 10 times and have rented homes at least 4 times plus my friend had a house in Haena that i stayed at when he owned, and rented subsequently. This was best ever. It lived up to everything in the materials and surpassed expectations. the location is incredible and the house is first rate. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I can't say enough about this house. Beautifully furnished and loaded with kitchen supplies, games, beach gear and towels. Comfortable beds/linens. Lots of reading material and beautiful artwork. The sandy beach is beautiful with excellent snorkeling. Beautiful landscaping surrounds the entire home and provides privacy from the public beach nearby.

Best vacation of my life!
The house and location are perfect for families. Calm waters protected by a large outer coral reef, beautiful sand beaches, great paddle surfing, swimming and snorkeling. The house itself is perfectly laid out, well appointed, and full of Hawaiian character. Small touches such as the gardener leaving us a bouquet of freshly cut rosemary and tropical flowers just added to the mystique. Just an absolute dream spot. Highest possible recommendation *****

Beautiful, private house on Anini Beach
We loved our stay on Anini at Kai Hale. It's a very well-designed house. It's right on the beach but it's the only house there with gorgeous landscaping that allows you to have a totally private experience while still enjoying water views. There are multiple levels where you can sit on a balcony and enjoy the water and fresh air. We had 5 people but we were able to spread out and relax in comfort. The house has all and comforts you'd want in a beach house: towels, beach chairs, fins and snorkels, washer / dryer (key for families), loads of kitchen appliances, electronics, grill and requisite tools, etc. We really enjoyed going to the farmer's markets and bringing back fresh fruit and veggies to enjoy al fresco. We snorkeled off the beach most mornings, body surfed nearby, read and relaxed. I even took a kite boarding lesson steps away from the secret beach entrance. This is a highly recommended property.
