Must get a lake view to make your experience.
The view from our room was spectacular. Absolutely the best thing about the hotel. A king size bed would be nice rather than a double and twin in the room. Outlets in the bathroom would be nice. The waitress for dinner was clearly new and struggled with service. The breakfast service was not great. We waited 25 minutes before they brought coffee and took our order as we were ordering off the menu and not eating the buffet. I asked for coconut milk and they indicated they make it homemade and brought out a sludge that was thicker than sour cream. The oat milk was normal. The manager and front desk staff were very friendly.

The Lake Hotel in Killarney is just doing everything right. They even keep a quiet area in the dining room for couples traveling own their own away from large tour groups which we really appreciated. Joel at the bar is a delight. The front desk staff was exceptional, booking a private driver for us on short notice and helping me to most efficiently get our laundry done. We will recommend The Lake Hotel without reservation.

Amazing stay for wedding anniversary celebration. Beautiful hotel, staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was the best of our entire trip. This was hotel was the highlight of our vacation.

Amazing hotel located in a spectacular area. The city of Killarney is a true gem . We had a room facing the bay and the castle ruins . The breakfast is very good and the bar area has evening music (changes daily). The staff was very accommodating getting us reservations for Gap of Dunloe tour - unlike other websites the hotel offers a direct shuttle to and from the start/wnd of the tour. We spent one day walking (13 miles) around the Muckross Lake and were surprised by the microclimates and great variety of plants here . The city itself is very pleasant and a good spot for shopping.

This property was the best place we stayed in during our two week Ireland stay. The views are amazing. It is a great spot to visit the Ring of Kerry. The area also had many sights close by to visit. Breakfast was awesome and the two onsite restaurants had great dining. The bartenders were also great with friendly conversation and great drinks. Awesome hotel.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is. Extremely helpful and polite and courteous. Breakfast was impeccable. The dining options were very good and the food was always top notch. Just beautiful grounds. Walking distance to Mucross Abbey which is a nice extra.

We had a fantastic stay at The Lake Hotel. We will make this our home base for our annual trips to Killarney in the future. The room was excellent in every way: clean, spacious, with a great view, and convenient to the restaurant, bar and lobby area. The staff were professional, and the food at breakfast and in the bar was terrific. We loved our stay.
