Entering the kitchen there everything you’ll need for cooking up a storm during your stay. There’s also a handy breakfast table too. Through the kitchen to the hallway, there are two double bedrooms off the hall as well as a family bathroom. The porch at the end of the hallway leads out to the enclosed garden with sea views. And there’s one other door off the hallway that leads to the living/dining room. This room is large and has amazing views over the sea loch. And if this wasn’t enough there another fantastic double bedroom with en-suite shower room beyond the dining room area.
The cottage is honestly Tardis-like and will surpass your expectations on space. The owner has made the property very comfortable, and it serves as an excellent base in Kinlochbervie from which you can explore this amazing area. After watching the fishing boats coming and going from the house you’ll want to get out and go exploring yourself. Only a couple miles down the road you can get onto the first of four amazing local sandy beaches: Oldshoremore. Beyond this beach there’s Polin and then tiny Sheigra. The final is Sandwood Bay which you can only reach by foot or by boat, and it’s a 3-mile hike into the sand.
You could spend the week exploring these four beaches because they all offer something slightly different. Kinlochbervie isn’t just great for its local beaches though. There are amazing walks nearby, and with the NC500 only a few miles away you can be exploring the far north of Scotland and all it has to offer in no time at all. Bervie Road Cottage is a truly excellent base from which to explore when not relaxing and enjoying the situation and view. Book now and be glad you did so.
