If you are looking for something really special, for something really unique you will be here at the right place. The property offers what its name promises: A magnificent view over the bay of Kampos (Afrotolakous) with its wonderful pebble beach surrounded from an impressive and unspoilt landscape. Our natural stone Villa, built in a traditional style, is a 140 square meter single-storey building. The fully equipped open floor kitchen, dinning and living spaces are open to the terrace and to an amazing spacious garden area with a new infinity pool, which offers you large space for outdoor playing and entertainment. The beach of Kampos is a 6 minute walk.
Our Villa Magical View offers place for 4 to 5 people. It has two bedrooms ā€“ one with a double bed and the en suite bathroom with toilet and shower and the other with two single beds. The other spacious bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with massage jets. The dinning and living room seats 6 people comfortably. All rooms have air conditioning. Furthermore the Villa offers Sat TV and internet access.
We are also pleased to offer you a welcome package for your first breakfast and welcome you to taste our homemade wine and raki.

We would like to inform our guests about the new climate resilience tax newly introduced by the Greek government in 2024. Since we meet the category of a 5-star hotel with Villa Magical View, the amount is 10.00 euros per night. We collect the amount for the entire stay in cash upon arrival.

Perfect for Greta Garbo.
There are two great positives about this property, the brilliant property manager (who could not have been more helpful) and the outside facilities (great pool, nice outside furniture and of course the view). On the negative side, the inside of the property is less attractive. I appreciate style is a matter of personal taste (Iā€™d describe the look as ā€˜Gothic horror meets Haunted house) but uncomfortable furniture was disappointing. The most important aspect of a stay at this villa is its location. It is REMOTE. If you are Greta Garbo and ā€˜want to be aloneā€™ it would be perfect. If on the other hand you like to walk to local shops and tavernas then this is not the place for you. My number one tip would be to ensure you shop in Chania before you set off and bring every bit of food and drink you need for your stay with you. Whether you feel like you have found your perfect oasis or you feel like you are under house arrest will depend on the success of that shopping trip.

Villa Magical View is a good name for this place.
It is a huge view and the longest horizon I can remember seeing. There is an abandoned building project next door but this does not detract from the incredible setting. The house is very well set up and the extra child bed in the second bedroom worked well. There is so much space both indoors and outdoors. The pool was also perfect for us. You are quite far from much of Crete so best if you want to switch off, relax and spend time in the house and the empty beach nearby. A few very good tavernas about 10-15mins away in the car. Birgitta is also the perfect host. 5 stars all round !!!!!

Out of this world
The glorious view and perfect pool banish any stress you may have brought with you. Lying under a blanket of stars and the visible milky way at night, which we did many nights, was a remarkable experience Both the outdoor and indoor areas are clean and comfortable - perfect for relaxing. The entire house is lovely. We ventured out most days, including Elafonisi (go early), Balos by boat from Kissamos and Paliochora. There are many wonderful tavernas. Glykeria in Elafonisi Gialities down the road Brigitta is a warm and lovely person. She is readily available and truly kind. We are a family of 4 with teenagers and everyone loved the house I highly recommend staying at this property. .

Best part of our month in Greece
The setting of the villa is out of this world. I really felt as though we were on a movie set. On a cliff, facing west for amazing sunsets, overlooking the sea and rocky hills with a little beach below that was empty except for the shepherd who would come to care for his goats who lived in a stone building by the water. The inside of the house was spacious and lovely, though we spent little time there. The pool was silky and divine, a salt water pool which the swallows would swoop down and drink from. Really perfect (except for the screens which had a lot of openings, but we are certain that will be taken care of). A special gift was the abandoned dog who would come which we fed our scraps to, a really sweet dog. The villa is isolated except for a few nearby homes and itā€™s about a six minute drive on small mountain road to Kambos, the nearest place for a taverna. The West is the one to go to there. Wonderful, friendly, delicious. A real find and pretty close to Elafonisi along a gorgeous coastal road, not frequented by many folks.

Lovely to be able to hear the sea and lovely sunsets
Comfortable house. Well equipped and I nice range of some groceries on your arrival. Outside you will be immersed by the sound of the sea. Surrounded by mountains. Very peaceful. Brigitta is very helpful and took the trouble of picking me up from the airport as my partner had a problem with his flight. It is a good idea to organise your shopping well because although not far it takes 40 mins to get to the bigger shops. You can arrange for a close by shop keeper to bring you shopping. We didnā€™t use this. From the house it is worth a visit to Balos (stunning) and on a not too busy day we really enjoyed Falasarna beach and eating at amazing local tavern. Great fresh fish.

Lovely house beautifully situated
Villa Magical View makes a great base for exploring the mountains and coastline of Western Crete or as a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sea views and local beach. The house is well appointed and equipped with most things youā€™d need, and Birgitta was a great host. The narrow winding roads leading down to the property are a little alarming in places but you soon get used to it! We would definitely come back again.

Tolles Haus in absolut ruhiger herrlicher Lage
Wir haben 6 Tag in diesem herrlichen Haus verbracht. Alles war wunderbar - angefangen von der Lage des Hauses, dem Blick von der Terrasse, der Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und von dem tollen Service der Verwalterin Brigitta. Den Sonneuntergang mit einem Glas Wein aus den grosszĆ¼gig zur VerfĆ¼gung gestellten FƤssern, vor dem Grill zu geniessen und dabei den Wellen zu lauschen - traumhaft. Zudem mangelte es nichts in Haus - alle GerƤte, Utensilien waren da, so dass man nach Herzenslust kochen und backen konnte. Sogar ein gefĆ¼llter KĆ¼hlschrank fĆ¼r den ersten Abend und noch vieles Mehr an GewĆ¼rzen, Ɩl, Essig, Mehl, Zucker, Nudeln. Da erlebt man selten. Fleisch und Fisch kann man nicht so schnell bekommen, sondern mĆ¼sste bis nach Kissamos fahren, aber wir bekamen das Angebot, das man das auch bestellen kƶnnte und dann im Nachbardorf abholen kƶnnte. Den einzigen Wunsch, den wir noch hƤtten: "richtige WEinglƤser" mit Stiel statt der so Ć¼blichen WasserglƤser. Aber ansonsten waren wir wunschlos glĆ¼cklich! Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wir haben drei wunderschƶne und entspannte Wochen in diesem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Die ruhige Lage unmittelbar am Meer und der tolle Ausblick sind traumhaft, ideal zum Erholen und Abschalten vom oft hektischen Alltag. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Birgitta begrĆ¼ĆŸt und fanden ein bestens ausgestattetes Haus mit gefĆ¼lltem KĆ¼hlschrank und groƟer Obstschale vor. Auch der wƶchentliche Reinigungsservice durch die nette Ria war prima. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir definitiv wieder kommen wollen.

Magnifique sejour
Nous sommes une famille de 5 avec 3 enfants de 8,12 et 13 ans. Nous avons passĆ© un magnifique sĆ©jour dans cette superbe propriĆ©tĆ©. La vue est Ć  couper le souffle, la maison dispose de tout le confort et est parfaite, la piscine est top. Paradise on earth
The house is exactly as described and even more. For people seeking a relaxing and peaceful holiday far from touristic crowds, this is the place. The Magical View villa is the perfect name for this well-equipped, extremely spacious, secluded, beautifully furnished house. At our arrival, food and drinks were provided - thank you so much! Schƶnes Haus mit traumhaften Meerblick
Schƶnes Haus mit atemberaubenden Ausblick aufs Meer. Steinstrand unter dem Haus ist schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, alles was man benƶtigt ist vorhanden. Die Betreuung durch Brigitte war ausgezeichnet. Wir empfehlen die schƶne Villa gerne weiter.

Super Ferienhaus mit sehr schƶnen Blick aufs Meer
Das Ferienhaus ist optimal um touristischen Trubel zu umgehen und die Landschaft zu genieƟen. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefĆ¼hltā€¦ drauƟen die Ć¼berdachte Terrasse, mit groƟen Esstisch, AuƟengrill, Sitzeckeā€¦ Die schƶnsten StrƤnde sind gut zu erreichen, allerdings ist das Autofahren bei den SerpentinenstraƟen teilweise sehr abenteuerlich. Gute Tavernen sind mit dem Auto in ca. 10 min erreichbar. Der Pool ist groƟ und bietet auch beim Schwimmen einen sensationellen Blick auf Meer und Berge.

Villa Magic View - Nomen est Omen
Grandioses Panorama, tolle Villa, klasse Pool weit abseits des sonstigen Tourismus. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht und dabei nicht auf die Annehmlichkeiten eines gut ausgestatten Hauses verzichten mƶchte, der ist bei der Villa Magical View genau richtig. Wir haben hier eine herrlich entschleunigte Woche verbracht und unsere Energiespeicher wieder voll aufgeladen. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Kleines StĆ¼ck Paradies auf Erden
Wir sind am Anreisetag sehr spƤt angekommen weil es doch vom Flughafen HER zum Haus Ć¼ber 3 Stunden dauert aber Brigitta war immer noch da und hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen und uns alles gezeigt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und bietet alles was das tƤgliche Herz benƶtigt. FĆ¼r die Umgebung, den Pool und die Aussicht gibt es nur ein Wort "Atemberaubend". Wir kƶnnen dieses Objekt nur herzlich weiterempfehlen.

Erholung pur in malerischer Umgebung
Wir verbrachten eine tolle Woche in der Villa und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Villa ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Terrasse und der Pool mit dem einzigartigen Blick aufs Meer waren fĆ¼r uns ein absolutes Highlight. Die traditionellen Tavernen, die man innerhalb kurzer Fahrzeit erreichen konnte, rundeten den gelungenen Urlaub zusƤtzlich ab. Birgitta ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und stand uns bei Fragen immer zur VerfĆ¼gung. Trotz unserer spƤten Anreise (wir hatten ein Problem mit unserem Mietwagen), begrĆ¼ĆŸe sie uns persƶnlich am Haus und zeigte uns alles. Vielen Dank dafĆ¼r, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wer Erholung und ursprĆ¼ngliches Kreta sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Villa bietet alles, was man benƶtigt. Durch Pool, den traumhaften Blick und den ā€žeigenen Strandā€œ waren wir selten unterwegs. FĆ¼r Kochfaule gibt es verschiedene Tavernen im Umfeld zwischen 10min - 25min. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Service perfekt.

Traumhaus-Traumurlaub
Auch noch im November hat sich Kreta von seiner besten Sonnenseite gezeigt. Die SonnenuntergƤnge am Pool oder in der gemĆ¼tlichen Couch zu geniessen, und das bei noch 23 Grad, ist einfach ein Traum. Den sauberen Kiesstrand hatten wir fĆ¼r uns alleine, das Wasser war noch herrlich warm. Das Haus ist herrlich. Auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht mitspielt, auch von innen kann man durch die Panoramascheibe Ć¼bers Meer blicken. In der Sprudelwanne kann man herrlich entspannen. Die KĆ¼che ist bestens ausgestattet. Birgitta hat uns den KĆ¼hlschrank mit allem Notwendigen fĆ¼r das erste FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck reichlich gefĆ¼llt. Es empfiehlt sich trotzdem, bei der Anfahrt in Chania oder Kissamos einzukaufen. Die Anfahrt Ć¼ber die immer kleineren Strassen war sehr abenteurlich :). Alles in allem haben wir eine wundervolle Woche im November hier verbracht.
