The location is great as it is close to the university and the downtown. Very walkable. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the lighting was dim in the room and in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker as we will consider staying there again for a future trip.

It's a great place and aolid location. Would be evwn better if there was some way to park other than valet parking, which is not menrioned anywhere and you dind out about when you arrive.

The Cumberland House was beautiful. It was so clean, quiet, so thoughtfully and historically decorated. It was just stunning. My husband is a designer and he really enjoyed the thoughtfulness behind the aesthetics. We tried the signature drink, which was delicious. Paula helped us check in and she was just the friendliest and most helpful, adorable person. We loved our room on the top floor. We slept well and enjoyed all the amenities. We could easily walk to dinner downtown and the theater and back. The World's Fair Park is right by the hotel and the river and park and everything around it was wonderful and so easy to access. 10/10 will stay there again next time we are in Knoxville!
