Caught by unpleasant smell just upon entering the room and found a pubic hair on top of the bed. I took a picture on it and presented it to the desk personnel. In return, he gave me linens for me to change the beddings. I believed the room wasn’t cleaned after the prior occupant. Mainstay Suites such gross to stay.

If all you want is a room, it will do
The room itself was mostly in good shape, though the curtains were in a bit in need of repair. Location left something to be desired. It was probably safe enough but I still yearned for the enclosed hotels nearby.

The room smelled of smoke and caused my allergies to go crazy. I did feel safe at this hotel. The parking lot had broken down motorcycles that were being worked on. The common areas to to elevator were filthy and the elevator had major debris. The towels in my room were stained and there cigarette burns on multiple surfaces. If it had not been so late when I arrived, I would have requested to cancel my reservation immediately. However, I choose to try and sleep the night. The air conditioning would not cutoff and it was 65 degrees. Not extra blankets were available. I checked out early and made reservations at a quality hotel for the remainder of my stay. I except a refund for the reason days.

Check in with Omega was great . She was very helpful . Our keys had to be re keyed three times. Ants in room next night and front desk wouldn’t help, trash wasn’t picked up and front desk wouldn’t take it to dispose of. Wanted me to walk around the building myself. Beds were awesome very comfortable. The property was being updated and I’m sure when completed will look nice. We weren’t in room except to sleep thankfully

Front desk staff was nice but they need to get out and walk the facility. People throw cans and trash everywhere and no one picked it up once in the 5 days I was there. Placards state not to smoke in front of rooms and dozens of people did including in front of my door. No one enforces. My room reeked of smoke. Room was decent for the price. I will not be returning though.

The tub didn't have a cap over the drain, so it wouldn't hold water well. There were yellow spots on the ceiling and a cigarette butt on the floor when I got there. The bed, bathroom, and other furniture were clean and comfortable. The floor felt like it hadn't been swept.

There was a band aid hanging from the night stand..... For the first time in a while we had the opportunity to sleep past 5am. But instead they started doing construction at like 7am right next door in the room next to ours. And the toilet was clogged before we even checked in.....

they're trying, but it isnt there yet.
ill start with the good. the floors were new, and most of the exterior has been redone. they are obviously in the middle of renovations. now with the bad. the lights were constantly flickering, the space was smelly and cramped. we were in the back which overlooks I40 so all i heard was the sound of cars rushing by on the interstate all day and night. suspicious looking people walking around at all hours and a guy doing auto m3chanics in the parking lot. definitely not worth the price. spend an extra $30 amd stay at a decent hotel.
