We where there for 7 ngts & found the staff were very helpful they made us feel like family & housekeeping do a great job our room was spotless. Coffee is good but the continental breakfast is repetitive. Our room 309 was in need of maintenance:- Blinds & Shutters broken, Bathroom door hard to close, sml Bar Fridge needs putting on the bench off the floor Basin Plugs needed & a line in outdoor shower for washing , timber floor in outside shower needs fixing. This is an issue the owners need to attend to. Magnificent spot right on the beach great snorkeling.

The view from the room was great everything else was terrible. Live cockroaches in the room mould on the ceiling bed was very hard, taps at the vanity weren’t fixed properly, blinds in the window falling out, the waterfront shower sprayed everywhere except on you,

The bottom of the bed and bed skirt was dirty-very obvious. Phone cord was broken didnt work, Door got locked from inside, couldnt open, had to use my data to call front desk to open our door. Food options were not so great. Staff were very friendly till we let them know the issues, then they wouldnt even make eye contact let alone say hello

Bad service, bad food. Not worth the money
We stayed for 6 days and every day the breakfast service was terrible. The buffet was not replenished and items were missing (water, coffee, pastries, bread, fruit) as you can see from the photos taken around 8am (mid service). When I asked for water I was told they only provide one large bottle and it was all gone. I insisted I wanted water and was told to wait there. Took 10 minutes to come. Eggs orders took 10-25 minutes to arrive. All floor staff bar one were rude. No eye contact, no greeting, no smiles. We felt they resented us for being there. Quality of food at restaurant was below average (example: catch of the day was frozen fish). Waited at the bar for a bottle of beer for 25 minutes (only 3 people ahead of me). Only friendly floor staff member is Varinosece. WIFI available only at lobby, pool and restaurant, not in rooms. On Sunday the system was down at the restaurant and pool. IT guy was on his day off, so this was only fixed on Monday. Lobby staff were very friendly, especially Tiger. House keeping staff were very friendly, however mid stay they ran out of towels and took a few hours to get new towels. The state of the place is run down and tired. In need of renovation. We spoke to a few other guests and they felt the same. We ended up walking 40 minutes to the supermarket and bought food to avoid eating at the restaurant. We are not sure the staff work conditions, but they are clearly very unhappy. Very disappointing. We will not come back.

We loved our stay! Rooms are a little tired but have everything you need with comfortable beds, we stayed in the beachfront villa. A place to relax and unwind and the staff are just amazing. Just remember this is not a 5 star hotel and you’re in Fiji ‘no hurry,no worry’.

The staff, the staff at the hideaway make your holiday. Shout out to Money, Francis, Tash and Volley, get in early and interact with them, and by day 2 all the staff will know you by name, have a table set at all meals for you and know your favourite drink. High tide is you friend in the ocean so plan you day around high tide, snorkelling is amazing down the beach and out a little ( just don't swim in the channel) our time was Made by the poeple who treated us like family. Not worth of the lower price
The property is run down resort, with nice setting in tropicsl greeneey on the positive side. However there is lot of garbage (pet bottles in the greenery), cigarette butts in front of the bures, stray dogs and cats, the swimming pool with murky water. Breakfast choice limited (no bananas, no vegetables). Security is also an issue (one day I returned to the room to find my in-room safe was open). It is questionable if it is worth the distance from the Nadi airport (1,5 hrs), especially when the sea here is not swimmable - there is huge tide difference btw low and high. During low tide you have to walk a kilometer to get to the sea. Bures are spacious and equipped with AC/fan/kettle and fridge. However, it is not even worth the low price (comparable to upscale resorts closer to the Nadi airport). I would not choose this resort again. I booked for three nights and had to find other place to feel more relaxed and safe.

Multiple days garbage laying on the grounds without cleanup. Generally too expensive for what it is. The service staff is great though. Needs more Fiji cultural experiences at the resort ie: food and even history would have been enjoyable.

Lovely location, amazing friendly and genuine staff - they are a huge asset to the resort!! Resort is dated, but clean, which we knew ahead of time, and is reflected in the price compared to other resorts. Breakfast is quite generous considering its complimentary. Great pool & snorkeling at high tide. The beachfront rooms appear to have wonderful views, lovely gardens throughout the property. Frangipani bure spacious for families. Good value for money with lovely staff and great location on the beach
