Spent four nights in at Hotel Wawel which was excellent in every way. Location is a short walk from all of the main attractions in Krakow, the castle, Jewish Quarter, Main Square in Old Town but still blissfully quiet. Tons of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Only took us a 25min walk to and from the train station to get the airport shuttle. Room was spacious and super clean. Bathrooms were also modern and very clean. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room but a free coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine on the first floor which was even better, delicious coffee. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were attentive and assisted us in booking a couple of day excursions with hotel pick-up. Breakfast was wonderful with pretty much anything you could want, and at convenient times for all (7-10). Would stay here again without any hesitation in the future.

A great place to stay to visit Krakow
The hotel is ideally located for exploring the main areas of Krakow, with virtually everything we visited within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and quiet. The hotel was clean with varied artwork on the walls. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold meats, eggs, cheeses, fruit, cereal and breads. Complimentary water is provided in the rooms and there is a complimentary coffee area on the first floor. The Czarna Kaczka (The Black Duck) restaurant which can be accessed through the hotel lobby is excellent, and is very popular so booking in advance is recommended.

Loved the location and friendly,helpful reception staff. Didnt like breakfast staff. They could learn from reception. Not a smile from the tall male in 3 days. Also wasnt made aware that hotel bill had to be paid in cash. Extremely inconvenient.

My companion and I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and all round facility as a whole. They were accommodating, courteous and helpful in every way, and we’re a great part of making our stay in Poland a memorable one. As for the facility itself… quaint, clean and couldn’t have been more central in its location. We would highly recommend this hotel
