Luxurious Villa with Panoramic Ocean View, Private Pool and optional Car

Casa Presioso is a beautiful two-story house on a private cul-de-sac in Santa Barbara on the island of Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean (former Netherlands Antilles). Being built on the hill, it has a spectacular free panoramic view overlooking the ocean, Kralendijk and the islet Klein Bonaire.

Relax in the private pool with spacious sundeck, lie back in the lush cushions of our lounge area on the porch, or enjoy the serenity of every-day's beautiful sunsets after dinner on the outdoor dining room on the second floor - the best way to conclude another day of diving or snorkeling!

Casa Presioso has room for 6 people. Bedrooms accommodate 2 persons. On special request we can put in an extra foldable bed for one extra (7th) person. If you require separate bedrooms and/or extra beds, it is possible to order and use an extra bed(room) for an additional fee of 1 extra person (to cover for cleaning, bedlinen and utilities); please notify the owner if that is you wish. For a baby or toddler (up to 2 years) there is always place available for no extra cost (if no extra bedroom is needed). If you require anything extra: we welcome special requests and try our best to fulfil them.

All bedrooms have A/C and traditional ceiling fans with light and remote control. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms have large double beds that can be separated into two single beds and a shared bathroom.

Casa Presioso is especially well suited and equipped for divers and snorkelers: on the side of the house you will find separate rinse tanks for clothes, dive equipment and underwater photo/film gear, as well as a (lockable) drying area.

Casa Presioso owns a Ford double cabin (5p) pickup with automatic transmission, which we offer our guests to borrow when staying at the house. The car will be delivered to you clean and with a full tank of gas and you simply return it with a full tank again. As borrower you only pay for the cost of full insurance and depreciation of the car: €45 (less than US$50) per night of your stay, all-inclusive. You do not pay any additional taxes or fees a rental company would charge you. For comparison: commercial rental companies advertise with low daily rates, but then add the cost of insurance ($15-$25 per day), extra costs for extra drivers or child seats, 'location fee' for being for having an office at or near the airport (6% on total), and VAT (6% on total), which results in doubling the cost they advertise.

For guests that lend our car, we are able to reduce waiting times after your arrival to zero: we offer our guests a free transfer from the airport to our house and back again. On arrival transportation will be waiting for you to bring you directly to our house, where you will be welcomed by our property manager. For your return home the same is true: you will be picked up from the house and brought back to the airport. In case your flight does not leave for several hours, you may also choose to go to Kralendijk or a beach club of your choice between our house and the airport, to enjoy your last hours on the island to the fullest (in which case you will organize your own last transfer to the airport).

The computer in the living room is free to use. Use it to upload your photos to your Facebook or Flickr account, or view your slideshow on the TV screen in the living room! Throughout the house you will have (unlimited) hi-speed (100Mb) WiFi access.

The free-standing villa has a large and beautiful garden (1088 m² / 11,711 sq. ft.) with palm trees, bougainvillea and oleanders that bloom the whole year through.

On this website you can get a detailed and full quote to rent the house for any given period and number of people. Car loan is optional, and therefore not yet included in that quote.

Except for the optional car loan, no other costs, taxes or fees will be added. The quote includes:

Our Home Away from Home
We just spent another glorious month at Casa Presioso and thoroughly enjoyed it. We keep coming back, and in fact booked our next year’s vacation while we were there. The reasons we return every year are manifold: great pool with fantastic privacy; lots of fun wildlife around the property including lizards, parrots, and hummingbirds; mosquito netting around the beds with air conditioning if you need it; conveniently located and in a quiet area of Bonaire; responsive property manager nearby (though we hardly ever have had to call her); great range of appliances and utensils. And everything works as it should. Highly recommended. Lovely stress-free relaxation!

Great Vacation
The property was absolutely beautiful. It is a small island so everything is really close by car. We rented the truck that the property has and it was great for getting around. The pool was a huge win for my 7 year old daughter. Any issues we had, were promptly addressed. I definitely recommend this property for your trip to Bonaire.

Absolutely gorgeous house, wonderful stay
The house is really lovely, the pool and patio area (as well as the upstairs deck with seating for 6) are perfect. We were on Bonaire for our second dive trip (stayed in a condo by the airport the first time) and loved this location. The house is the perfect size for 6 people (two couples and two teenagers who shared a room) and the owners are extremely responsive. The AC in the bedrooms is icy cold, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is extremely well stocked (blender, crockpot, bbq grill, etc all in excellent shape). The (optional) truck rental worked great as well. Not a single complaint. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

Perfect private villas
We had a fantastic month-long stay at Casa Presioso and we had a wonderful time. The house is slightly off the street, making for a quiet and private residence. In addition, large bushes around the house make for even greater privacy. You might hear your neighbours in the distance, but you will never see them from the back patio/pool. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices, dishes, pots, pans, and tupperware. We probably used just about everything there. The appliances work very well. We agree with other reviews that the downstairs fridge truly is a godsend for lounging around the pool/patio. It will need to be replaced should it ever go on the fritz! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and clean. We especially enjoy the mosquito netting around all the beds. The patio and upstairs outdoor eating area are both perfect and well shaded. Finally, the best reason for us to stay there (over and above the great facilities listed above) is the many birds, lizards and iguanas that make their home in and around the property. Great fun to watch (and listen to!). Highly recommended. We booked our next stay before we even finished our current holiday. I think that says it all.

Perfect In Every Way!
Everything about this house is perfect. The owners and the manager are so very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The house is very well stocked with anything you could need. The beds are comfortable. The drinks, snacks, and food for the first day’s breakfast were much appreciated. The kitchen is well supplied for the cook. The grounds are lovely and nicely landscaped. The trees and shrubs provide privacy around the pool. We particularly enjoyed seeing the parrots flitter about in the trees. There are multiple places to sit outside and relax or enjoy a meal. We enjoyed everything about this house. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Overall a great experience
The house is comfortable with views of the ocean and a very private-feeling pool area. The mineral salts pool was quite nice. Natalie, the property manager, was very helpful and diligent about making sure everything was working well. We had to move our reservations a couple of times due to covid, and appreciated Roel's patience and upbeat communications.

Beautiful home with lots of seating areas to relax. Rinse bins for divers and dive gear closet was a huge plus. The pool is lovely. The views are wonderful and dinner on the outdoor dining area watching the sunset is lovely. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We would stay here again.

Two diving couples stayed in this home for a week. The property manager picked us up at the airport on time, explained the island to us as she drove us back to the villa. Everything in the home was perfect, rooms were nice, beds were great. The setup for divers couldn't be better. We had an issue where a gate hinge weld failed and the property manager had if fix in hours. Great communication!

Relaxing oasis in the middle of paradise
The home is exactly as the pictures depict. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The beds were a haven for dreams after a long day of adventures. The bathrooms had plenty of hot water for showers and were in excellent working condition. The outdoor areas were so tranquil. The flowers and plants on the property are maintained with great care to make it stand out among the other area homes. Such a lush yard attracts many birds and other island species. The fenced yard keeps all the beautiful landscaping safe from donkeys and goats that roam the island. The pool and seating area offer a cool retreat from the sun. The privacy of the pool makes you feel like you are in a luxury resort. The outdoor shower and rinsing stations were very helpful when returning from the beach. We enjoyed the beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and float items that the house had available. Our family enjoyed cooking in the well equiped kitchen. Dining outside on the covered porch gave us a beautiful view of the island. Sun shades surrounding the outdoor porch help to filter out a bit of the sunset to decrease the intensity. The washer, dryer, and clothesline helped to decrease the amount of luggage that we had to bring. Having an extra refrigerator on the pool level was a real convenience for making drinks readily accessible. We took advantage of the Toyota truck rental during our stay. A truck is a must have if you intend to visit the National Park on the northern end of the island. The roads are fairly primitive and a truck is going to be a blessing. We also visited the salt pans, donkey sanctuary, distillery, and the blocart track for some landsailing. We are relatively new to snorkeling but found the beaches easy to navigate for novice beachgoers. We were able to see TONS of fish even though we did not venture far from shore. Our experience was the best yet and we would HIGHLY recommend this home for an optimal Caribbean getaway.
