No frills hotel?
Used to use this hotel a lot for business before covid. But now it is becoming more like a no frills because No hand towels No lotion Slippers require deposit Sound proofing not very good. I could help people pacing upstairs and furniture moving in next room.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. I initially booked for 3 days just to see how is the hotel since it's my first trip to Kuala lumpur. But manager named Zafrul helped me to extend my stay on my request for 4 more days though they were fully booked. He and other staffs also helped me to buy more data when I ran out of it as I had no idea how to do it. Though the location of the hotel is a bit far from the city still I absolutely recommend this hotel.

We booked the stay through Hotels.com and paid our 4 nights stay in full through the app. When we were checking out, we were advised by the hotel staff that we needed to pay an additional RM10 per night for tourism tax. When we were checking in, the hotel staff did not mention anything about the tourism tax and we thought we have paid an all inclusive rate under Hotel.com. In the end, the hotel made us pay the additional tourism tax. The hotel venue and room that we had were great, but our stay ended on an unhappy note as we argued with the hotel manager since we were not told during check-in on the tourism tax. Please ensure customers are informed about such taxes, either on the booking site/app, or remind the hotel staff to inform during check-in.

Slightly disappoitning this time but a good stay
This was overall an ok stay. We really enjoyed our last stay at the property which is why we chose it again this time. Unfortunately, however, check-in seemed to be an unduly slow process, the safe in our room was not working, and gratuiites such as slippers and a weighing scale, which wed previously been provided with, were not provided on this occasion. That said, the room was still very comfortable. The decor was modern and tasteful, the amenities were good, and we probably would consider staying there again in the future.

I recently stayed at VE Hotel and encountered an initial issue with my room due to a drainage problem, which caused an unpleasant odor throughout the space. The technician responded promptly but only sprayed something into the drainage, which unfortunately didn't resolve the problem. After returning from dinner, the smell worsened, becoming a mix of the original odor and the spray. Despite this, I must commend the hotel staff for their excellent customer service. When I went to the reception to report the issue, they were very understanding and quickly arranged for me to move to another room. The new room was much better, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my stay comfortably. Overall, while my initial experience was less than ideal, the staff's responsiveness and willingness to help ensured that my stay ended on a positive note. I appreciate their dedication to guest satisfaction and would consider staying here again in the future.

My kids are very disappointed because the swimming pool is currently under renovation. Management should have mentioned this in the advertisement. The door is not suitable for families because it is always unlocked, making me feel insecure in the bathroom. Additionally, the price is not affordable.
