Our favorite hotel on our trip to Japan! The hotel is right above a shopping mall and right next to the train station. It has also has a beautiful private onsen, laundry machines, and ¥1000/day parking. One small issue happened during check-in: we arrived soaken wet during a downpour, but were told we could not go to our room as it was before the check-in time. It was only after we asked to get our luggage (which had been forwarded to the hotel) that we were able check-in early as the bags were already in our room. It would have been nice if they had checked whether the room was ready, as they could clearly see we were soaked and needed to change. Regardless, it was a very nice hotel and I highly recommend it.

It’s amazing, the staff is friendly and professional, always with a smile. The room is well kept and it is spacious in Japan standard. Excellent location, the hotel is just next to Kumamoto station. And it is easy to go to the attractions by taking the tram in front of Kumamoto station. Will definitely recommend to my friends and families. I will pick this hotel if I ever come again, simply love it! 😍

Hotel was great and service was excellent but the location was inconvenient vis-à-vis the points of interest in the city unless you had a car (luckily we did). Rooms are spacious and the public baths are good. It’s a bit of a faff going through the car park, then the mall, to then get to the hotel; but you get used to it after a day - however if you have children or elderly people in your group, it would be massively inconvenient just based on the amount of walking and navigation you need to do to get yourself to the hotel from the parking lot and back. Hotel is very clean and neat. Lighting is good with several controls, even shower/bath has its own switch. A/C is easy to use and quiet. A few steps away from the train station, very convenient!
