Hotel was quite nice and the food was excellent. The trouble was all the confusion when asking questions about dinner and our room. When we got into the room, it hadn’t been cleaned and there was an empty bottle of juice sitting on the dresser – the beds weren’t made either! When I went to reception to ask about this, their response was “I don’t know how that happened.” A bit inconvenient overall as we have been staying in a few places around Scotland and they were rated 3* which offered 5* service. I hope this was a one off.

Your average country hotel yes it has been fixed up to make look newer but it’s not a 4 -5 star property Clean neat with nice people. Hotel restaurant was efficient with limited options but they were good

Very average hotel, charging incredibly high prices. Very small room, tiny sink in bathroom, mold on shower corners, heat didn’t work well, very noisy in hallway especially when door in corridor opens and closes. Breakfast was good and included in price, but was the most expensive place to stay our whole trip including Marriott Edinburgh.

The hotel has been renovated but it lacks class and style. It seems like a low budget hotel charging high rates. Lacks attention to detail. For example bed lights weren’t working, the tv login was in French - Took time to mitigate this. It is located optimally for touring the highlands and lochs; staff were warm & friendly ;

This is a decent hotel close to the bridge to the Isle of Skye. Breakfast was included with out room, which was very good. The bed was comfortable. Our room was clean and the bathrooms have been updated.

Nice clean hotel. Price was very high for the amenities. Hotel was clean and in a good location. Breakfast was very good. Room was cozy and beds were comfortable. Would have expected much more for the price point.
