Unique Japanese experience, with a personal touch!

The minute we walked in into Fujiya Ryokan we immediately felt welcomed and relaxation commenced. Our host greeted us with a warm smile and some hot green tea. She even gave our 3 year old a little present on arrival too. This was the first time we have stayed in a Ryokan and to be honest, we were a little apprehensive regarding the sleeping arrangements but found the beds to be ultra comfortable! Such an experience and one we would highly recommend for anyone visiting Kyoto. Located only a 2 minute walk from Kyoto's main station, with two main shopping towers in between. Prior to the check-in time, we were allowed to leave our suitcases there. Fujiya Ryokan is a wonderful example of Japanese hospitality and we cannot thank our host enough because our stay there was an absolute delight.

Great Ryokan

The location is great. Very close to Kyoto station. The staffs were very kind. It will be a good experience for Japanese style ryokan.
