Spacious room for Japan. Easy access to the subway and bus stops. Only one stop from Kyoto station and to Nishiki Market. Good restaurant nearby if you don't want to head further out. Refrigerator didn't really keep items cold enough but we had similar challenges at another hotel during our stay in Tokyo. Could be they are set to cool and not cold like we are use to. We would stay again if we return!

We stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and quiet. But few things made stay not ideal. First of all , there is no room service at all each day. So we had to just rinse mugs to reuse each day. Doesn’t feel mugs got cleaned enough. Hotel doesn’t provide coffee machine. They only have instant coffee mix at the front desk for free pickup. The hotel asks guests to sort garbage and put into 3 bins. However they don’t clean those bins everyday. Fortunately we have been eating out every day, otherwise I would think the room will smell if there is any food containers in the trash bin. Overall it is a fine hotel. But I don’t feel they run the hotel like “hotel”, it is probably more of airbnb style.
