Beautiful property, but the room was tiny, beds and pillows quite uncomfortable. That said the staff were lovely and everything was spotless and in good condition. Great amenities etc. Would stay here again if I had smaller luggage or were travelling alone.

I absolutely love this hotel! The beautiful entry is so inviting, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. While the onsen is a bit small, it never felt crowded and was wonderfully relaxing. Breakfast is an absolute must—it’s fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious!

The hotel was beautiful from the entrance itself to the staff, I felt bad every single time we went in or out they bow and say stay safe outside, and welcome back, also the most shocking part was this kind staff member her name escapes me, but she spoke English, Spanish, French and Japanese it was an amazing shock and she was magnificent, highly recommend this hotel along with the amazing food nearby like Fiveran Bakery and Ramen Mugyu Vol. 2 Karasuma Takoyakushi!

Small quaint, very quiet, excellent location to shopping, good restaurants. Amazing breakfast at the hotel. The staff was very professional and provided excellent service and information. This hotel was our base for 5 days in Kyoto, and it was perfect for exploring the city. Although the location is very central, the hotel is on a smaller street, so it was quiet. The bedroom was very comfortable, although we found a lack of space for unpacking large suitcases. It has a fridge, kettle, safe, and adapter plugs. Complimentary pyjamas and slippers were included, along with toiletries. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the ground floor, and included a generous variety of breakfast options. It was fairly busy and some days we had to wait 5 minutes for a table to be available. The hotel is located within 10 mins walk of the famous Nishiki Market, and 10 mins walk from Karamsuma Oike subway station. Thereby making it very accessible for travelling to anywhere in the city and beyond.

Staff was excellent . Rooms were small but that was t be expected but they were designed well for two people to function well. Had a little vanity which was nice. Had a small sofa for two people to sit on and a foot stool. We loved their public baths so great. Food at the restaurant was good. Breakfast was great.

The stay was amazing and the staffs were friendly and helpful! Loved that there was laundry room onsite, but wishes that there were more machines as it gets quite busy at night trying to queue for the laundry machines
