Sotetsu Fresa Inn was a pleasant experience! The facility was extremely clean and well maintained and the staff were pleasant to talk to.Even the entrance to the elevator to the front desk was very nicely lit, creating a breathtaking aura and view! The inn also includes a breakfast and free amenities such as hair brushes, hair elastics, toothbrushes, towels, pajamas and packets of moisturizers, sunscreen, and lotions, as well as sugar alongside tea! In summary, this is 5-stars all the way through!

Booked this so I was close to Gion Matsuri festival. The evening events in the run up to the float parade took place on the street of the hotel. So right in the middle of the action! Very close to the subway station and 7-Eleven. Breakfast buffet offered good selection of Japanese and western options. Coin laundry facilities had clear English instructions.

Great Stay in Kyoto
Clean, efficient, comfortable, and easy access to the subway and the Hankyu train line. Friendly staff. Breakfast offers a variety of items with local specialties, plus its price is very reasonable. The Gion area is within walking distance.

You get what you paid for, so basic but has everything you need. Convenient access to the Karasuma line and a larger bus stop but off the main road. 7-11 and several restaurants close by. Required room cleanings every three days are a bit annoying but that’s a Sotetsu Fresa requirement (I stayed four days and didn’t want to partially pack up just for cleaning).

Very clean property. Right next to 7-11 store. Closer to Shijo Train Station, Nishiki Market and shopping areas. Overall great location. Staff was very helpful. If you have oversize luggage you can send it to any prefecture in Japan for a reasonable price. The staff will help you send or ship your luggage. It only takes 1 day to get your luggage from Kyoto to Tokyo. Thank you for providing exceptional customer service.
