Great house but not great location
If you are considering this house, you should know that every weekday, there was continuous loud noise from bulldozers picking up and dropping large rocks at a building site behind the house. Two or three times a day, an alarm would shriek, followed by an explosion that shook the entire house. Working outside was out of the question. It would have been helpful to know about the noise before I paid for the house. The loud noise was extremely distracting, and disappointing because I went there specifically for quiet to work.
The aerial view of the house was not part of the listing when I booked. I wish it had been. Two sides of the property are steep, rocky hills that could seriously hurt someone if they fell or the ground gave way. You can’t get near the edge because the dirt is unstable and slides out from under your feet, and you could easily fall down the rocky hill. There is a big crack in the ground as well. The furniture around the outdoor fireplace is dirty. For children, the area is dangerous.
The driveway is narrow and steep, and it was covered with gravel most of the time I was there. My car often skidded on the way up.
The main floor of the house is very hot during the day, even with the air conditioner on. Even with the shades down, you can see in any time of day. There are three other houses very close to this house.
All of this said, the house was beautiful and clean inside, and the hosts answered questions quickly.
