I love the cottage and perhaps although somewhat impulsive, yes—I booked a future stay within the first hour of our check-in, due to the competitive price per night and beautiful views of the lake. Jenna the owner, couldn’t be any sweeter and was so easy to reach for directions and any questions we had during our stay. The only thing we deducted stars for, was the process of having to store our boat trailer in a separate location about five min away, as opposed to being able to load up while we were there and head straight down to the marina. Other trailers were parked on the property in undesignated spots, but we assumed those belonged to owners and not those who were renting for a few nights. Naturally the construction site is somewhat undesirable, but of course this isn’t a permanent situation—and the owner/construction project manager was extremely nice and took the time to answer all of my husbands questions about the properties and even invited him to tour the cottages that were not yet occupied, so we could see both levels. I totally recommend staying here, especially if you anticipate spending the majority of your time on the lake and don’t need a large space or mind driving to a separate place to hook up your trailer/boat. It would be close-quarters for two couples since there’s only one bedroom, but nice for a couple+1 child/young teen. Already looking forward to our next stay at the end of Sept!
