The interior is immaculately decorated for sophisticated living. Stairs lead from the main floor living area with kitchen, dining room, powder room, family room and living room to the second floor master suite, guest bedrooms and guest bath. A private Casita, to be newly furnished, has an additional bedroom, kitchenette, and a full bath, and opens to it's own secret garden. The property has off-street parking for up to three cars. Pets are limited to two small house-trained dogs and are subject to prior approval. Please note that the attached garage and storage building are not included in the rental. Our Daughter’s Wedding
The home was lovely… we were able to proudly host an intimate wedding party rehearsal dinner at this well-appointed, beautifully decorated house the night before our daughter’s wedding at “the wedding bowl” and Cuvier Club. Our adult children and son-in-law’s grandfather stayed comfortable for three nights. Walking distance to the village and the wedding venue. Beyond our expectations! Gabriella was an exceptional host and as able to get us an early check in the day we moved in. First class all the way!

Wedding Weekend!!
The house was exactly as described. It was in the perfect location for our niece's wedding, walking distance to everything. There is also lots of things withing walking distance to this location. We enjoyed our stay. It was the hottest weekend in San Diego and we could not figure out if the property had A/C until our third day at the house. ) - ; Our only suggestion would have been a quick instruction on how to turn on the A/C in the house handbook. We truly believed it did not have one as normally San Diego is so pleasant and it cools off so nicely. I'm sure if we weren't running around doing lots for the wedding, I could have reached out and would have been told how to turn it on. The property manager was super responsive to my earlier inquires and also after we had left the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible vacation home
We were in town for a wedding with friends and were able to stay in this lovely home for a long weekend. The home is incredible - pictures do not do it justice!! All four couples in our group had plenty of space and privacy. The home was warm and inviting and had any and all amenities you could need. The location was perfect as well, walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants and the beach! The check in/out process was a breeze! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Stayed here with three generations of family members. Absolutely fantastic in every way walkable to restaurants and scenic sites. Easy drive to the zoo and aquarium. Check in process was so easy. Off street parking is a must in this area and we had plenty of room for that. The kitchen was well stocked. Outdoor area is beautiful. Inside and outside up kept very well.

This is the one…
I know there are a lot of options out there but this is the one you want. The pics of the property do it no justice, it is an absolutely fantastic property and the location couldn’t be better. This is one of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in several. The parking on the property alone for being that close to the beach is enough to make this the one to choose. It has all the amenities one could want, and some that we didn’t even know how we ever lived without like the bagel toaster. Great chef kitchen for cooking, and the extra kitchen in the casita was a game changer. It even has undercounter drawer coolers. The casita out back has a full bathroom with a shower. The master bed is like its own suite. Worldly furniture and paintings throughout the whole house. Lots of exotic cooking sundries that I wish I had the time and skills to use properly. Access to the property was easy from the directions of the owner. Everything was fully functional with no surprises. It was actually refreshing to not have to contact the owner about anything. Price point on this property vs others in the surrounding areas this is a steal. I hope to stay at this property again soon.

Family Legoland Vacation
The Villa is a beautiful property with touches of Spain throughout the home. Our grandkids loved that we could walk to see the sea lions and it was a short drive to from the home to Legoland. The ping pong table was a big hit with my adult boys. Property is well-maintained and all of the amenities were as advertised. Only suggestion from my crew was the addition of fans for stuffy weather days and nights. We all think this property is a gem in La Jolla and highly recommend it.

Perfect location, elegant villa exceeded expectations
We enjoyed this memorable and elegant, well located villa. The communications from the hosts were warm and helpful from start to finish, as if we were welcomed guests and not their temporary renters. Our trip was for a family wedding, so we took most of our meals and activities about town at invited venues and were quite busy for the 4 days of our stay. Yet we marveled at the tasteful furnishings and design features in this spectacular home, and felt comfortable and very lucky to be here to rest peacefully at night. I heard night birds trying to find one another in the lush vegetation around the villa. Just as we were, they were drawn to the gorgeous setting from the moment they found it!

Family get together
My extended family converged on Southern California for my nieces wedding on Memorial Day (5/27/24). This is one of two Vrbo properties I rented during the week before the wedding so everyone could spend some time together in San Diego during the week before the wedding. A good time was had by all.

Wonderful stay
The property is very well maintained, excellent for groups, even has a casita for surly teens. Stocked with every essential. Towels galore, great beds with plenty of pillows. Location is 5 minutes walk from the best of LaJolla Village, and a nice 15 minute walk to LaJolla Shores. Highly recommend!

TERRIBLE! Unless you like Ants in your bed
I booked four nights for me and my two young children. While stunning from the outside, I noticed that the property was not well maintained (e.g., zip ties holding parts of the washing machine together and pieces of the ceiling missing exposing ducting). But the biggest issue by far was when it was time to put my daughter to bed (after my 2 year old was already asleep in a pack n play). We noticed some ants on the bed, brushed them off, but they just kept coming and were everywhere. Tried to put my daughter in another bed, same issue. Tried the bed in the primary, again, ants all over. Trying to find the source, found other clusters of ants, such as the ones all over a dead fly in the dining room. Communicated with the host and they told me that if we stayed they would charge us the night plus fees. After my daughter was screaming that the ants kept crawling on her, I packed up the kids and we left. While the hosts were apologetic, they maintained that they would still charge the fees, which I was willing to lose just to be done with them. In the end, they charged fees, taxes and cleaning fees for a place we couldn't even sleep in. As someone who also hosts guests, I would not recommend any listing managed by these people. The decent thing would have been to cancel the booking, but obviously being greedy and providing substandard accommodations is more their style.

Just Beautiful
This lovely and comfortable home is a short walk to everything La Jolla has to offer. Our three generation family chose this property for its proximity to several celebration venues we were attending, but we were pleased to find the home so inviting. We have often stayed in rental houses, this is a home. Every amenity is provided in a truly beautiful setting. We felt like treasured family members visiting Tuscany.

great location
good place and great location. The master bedroom is huge -- the other two house bedrooms are small and share a bathroom. Good for kids but hard to share between two or three couples equitably. The casita bedroom is very cozy. The only place to function as an office is the dining room -- no desk or other good work station if that is your need.

Fabulous Italian Villa steps from La Jolla Shops and Cove
We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, well appointed and clean home so close to all the shops, dining and happenings in La Jolla. What a great place to hop over to see the sea lions, find a new restaurant or stroll the streets in this lovely town. Michael was a gracious host and very responsive to any and all questions. Would highly recommend this location for guests. The ping pong table for evening games was a welcomed bonus enjoyed by the entire group. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Perfect La Jolla location!
Our family had a wonderful visit for Spring Break. The house had plenty of space and was as described in the listing. We visited La Jolla shores beach and the tide pools. We enjoyed a visit to the farmers market (held on Sundays). We highly recommend this location and would love to visit again sometime!

We have stayed in numerous properties in the San Diego area and this was certainly one of the nicest. The house is gorgeous and extremely well decorated. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The location can’t be beat in La Jolla. Would certainly stay again!

Location and Privacy!
We lived in La Jolla for years and would drive by this home every day! It is such a perfect place to visit. The home is comfortable and so big it fit our family perfectly. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to gather. There was a new home being built next door but we are a very active bunch and weren't home during the day thank goodness but maybe some window coverings in the primary bathroom :)
