The villa des 3 ifs in Vallon Pont d'Arc located 600 meters from the town center, shops and activities on a plot of 2000 m2 completely fenced, quiet with a superb open view, a large swimming pool and equipped beach, a plot of pétanque, 3 terraces and a veranda the Villa has 4 bedrooms including upstairs a master suite with bathroom, separate toilet and terrace, in total you have a bathroom, 2 bathrooms, and 2 separate toilets, a fully equipped kitchen and a living-dining room. The villa and location are excellent … but.
We booked the villa for our two week French holiday having read the reviews and were happy to pay a premium price for it. The location and building are great and do warrant the cost. However … The expectations based on the advertised quality and facilities were not matched by our experience. Our first significant complaint was that despite the presence of equipment, there was no wifi connection to the villa over our two week stay. The TV did not work as it required either the wifi, bluetooth or a digital aerial signal. It had none of these. The grandchildren were extremely disappointed. The lack of wifi and a poor mobile phone signal at the villa meant that we had to cancel work and family group meetings back in UK. Speaking to neighbours who live there, the internet (Orange) problem is well known on the street for over 3 years. Why advertise it if it isn’t available? The equipment within the villa works but no external cable supply during our two week stay. We reported the problem on day two of our holiday and on day 4 the ‘Orange’ engineer confirmed that the wifi ‘ne marche pas’ . Then he left. We confirmed this to the owner’s agent but heard nothing. Much emphasis is put on the standard of cleanliness of the house and equipment. There is an option to pay €150 to have it cleaned on vacating or conform to a standard prescribed list. We decided to check the standard as found before deciding. I’m glad we did. Had everything been A1, we would have paid the cleaning fee to rid ourselves of the effort.Alas it wasnt. The identified equipment that was to be inspected on vacating was checked against the list on arrival. Windows. Not dirty but not particularly clean either. Oven. Certainly not to a standard that we have at home. Microwave. Clean Kitchen cupboard surfaces, sticky… we thought fat but after our attempts it seems the paint is causing the stickiness. Lots of dust under beds and shelves within the upstairs cupboards etc. Crockery. Quite a number of chips and cracks in plates and cups. However, so much is provided that it wasn’t a major problem. Apart from the lack of wifi, none of the listed items would have caused complaint apart from the implied threat of a loss of deposit if found not acceptable. Would we stay there again … you bet we would but it would but not at the price unless the standards are improved, or the cost reduced appropriately. Having spoken to the owners, we suspect their agents maybe aren’t thatgood

Déçu par l'état de la villa.
Nous avons été déçu des échanges avec les hôtes qui n'ont pas pris en compte nos réserves quant à la propreté de la maison à notre arrivée (poubelle de sdb non vidée, carreaux sales, hotte grasse, toiles d'araignées un peu partout). De plus la piscine était un vrai "bouillon de culture" malgré le soin pris d'utiliser la douche extérieure au préalable. Malgré nos requêtes et la visite de la personne en charge de la location qui en a fait le constat, cela n'a pas été en s'arrangeant. Nous avons trouvé cela dommageable étant donné le prix de la prestation ménage 150€.. Voilà pour notre avis. Nous sommes habitués des locations en famille dans la région et c'est la première fois que ces désordres nous gâchent un peu la semaine ...

Bien mais ...
Belle propriété, bien située, cependant quelques améliorations sont à prévoir de la part des propriétaires. La maison n’était pas parfaite au niveau ménage à notre arrivée. La cuisine est sale, les doigts collent au placard tellement c’est gras et l’état de la hotte n’en parlons pas. Seulement 6 transats au bord de la piscine pour 10 personnes. Des mégots de cigarettes au bord de la piscine à notre arrivée et salon de jardin cassé. Au prix de la location, cela commence à faire beaucoup. A améliorer... A part cela nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette maison.

Villa très agréable et idéaldement située
Nous avons passé un super séjour à 2 familles avec enfants de 8 à 2 ans. La villa est fonctionnelle et spacieuse. Très jolie vue sur les collines. La taille de la piscine est parfaite et très pratique avec la sécurité. Nous avons pu aller à pieds dans le centre de Vallon, top ! La communication avec la propriétaire est simple et réactive. Fijn huis met heerlijk zwembad
Huis ligt aan doodlopende weg, zeer rustige omgeving. (als je met kinderen bent die muziek luisteren (zonder koptelefoon) kun je bezoek krijgen😬) Dorpje op loopafstand. Leuk voor 's avonds. Fijn zwembad, mooie tuin. Hebben met de hitte wel een airco enorm gemist.
