We stayed here for a night and the rate was obnoxiously expensive. We found a cockroach in the kitchen. The hotel was very dated. The breakfast was absolute chaos. This hotel was not worth the price. Far from it. I can’t believe the prices in south Portugal.

Great location for exploring Lagos
Hotel was in a great location and our room was nice and clean. The bar and restaurant were good and the pool was big and clean. Breakfast also had a good choice. All in all a pleasant stay but the grounds could do with a freshen up, decking around lounger areas was rickety and in need of repair in some spots, a lot of ants around these areas too which can’t be helped I guess but just a bit off putting. The air-con in our room was leaking on the balcony and so left a musty smell. I noticed a musty smell in other areas of the hotel too however we still enjoyed our stay here.

This was a great spot to have as a home base in Lagos. The room was clean, great access to pool and lounge chairs. I’m not a “hot breakfast” person and would skip the included breakfast next time - there is a grocery store 5 minute walk away that had better options for yogurt/fruit/pastries. The staff are very helpful and kind.

The location is excellent, the pools are amazing, the overall setup is great, BUT the food is terrible. The AC wasn't working properly and the staff couldn't fix it in 4 days.
