The hotel is beautiful. It’s also older so expect that. Our room was fine, but much smaller than we realized. The bed & armoire (which was unnecessary) took up most of the room. I honestly felt like I was in a closet or dollhouse. Also, we could hear our neighbors talking next door. The walls are very thin. It’s a nice in that it’s conveniently located & if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room, it’s fine. The suites might be bigger. I would consider that if you want to relax in your room. I also thought the room had a weird smell which may have been the oil diffuser?

Very much enjoy this hotel. Very close to the beach. Downtown Laguna Beach is also very nice. The room itself, however, is very small. But if you don't intend on spending much time in the room, the overall hotel is nice.

Friendly staff , fun rooftop bar w/ great views, pretty lobby and Spanish Style ambiance. Walkable to shops and restaurants in the area. Would stay there again.

Charming old building with great location. Rooms are small but the furniture is bulky taking up too much space. Would be greatly improved with some tlc and updating. AC needs to be changed. We like it for the charm. Pricing is good for the area.

Adequate but parking concerns
Not a place to stay if you need parking— their lot is across the PCH and there were no spots available. The hotel is a bit worn down but well located and the staff was perfectly nice. It’s an adequate place to stay if you don’t require parking and aren’t expecting anything too luxurious. Small things like burn out lights in the bathroom and the shower pressure were tolerable but annoying.

Lobby very nice, staff nice, rooftop bar cafe wonderful, room windows no screens and slider one would not stay open, toilet 😱12" off floor🤔so low plus allowed male parts dipped into water and no grab bar to get up if you have a back problem😥😥bed was comfy, room was more spacious than expected, but very different in arrangements🙄everything worked, large TV. Room "surf" for young small travelers.

Property is extremely dated. Room, for the price is very sterile. No updates have been done for many years, which is quite evident. My room was right on the side road of the hotel with a door to hotel access was propped open all day and all night. Did not feel very safe. Hotel is in a great area. Very walkable. Rooftop Lounge is very nice. When I got there to check in no one was at the counter. Had to wait 10-15 minutes. The gentlemen who did appear to help was very nice. Parking is atrocious. The hotel does have it's own lot but cars were packed in there and it was extremely hard to. park for fear of hitting another guests car. Would not recommend the hotel. There are plenty of others within walking distance in Laguna Beach.
