The River House offers a fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, charcoal Bbq grill as well as a washer and dryer.
I supply the necessities such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo garbage bags and paper towels
The house is located on concrete block stilts. Stairs are required for entrance into the home.
Please Note:
The house is nestled in the woods on the banks of the Suwannee River so there is the possibility of coming upon wildlife such as deer turkey or even an otter please don't harass the wildlife as for they feel this is their home too.
The River House sleeps 5 offering a king size bed a full size bed a twin size bed.
The River House is in a very rustic off the beaten path of life.

Quiet and peaceful getaway
The little house on the river is very homey and cozy. The river view from the windows is amazing. So many stars to gaze at during the night and the peaceful flow of the river washes away all your worries. Great place for a couples getaway or a family gathering. Dorothy the host was amazing. Very attentive and kind. I would certainly stay again. The house is very close to springs and very country. Just what I was looking for. Thanks again for opening your home to a lovely vacation.

We really loved being right on the river. The grand girls liked being tucked away in the upstairs loft room at night and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Our hostess could not have done more to make us feel welcome and assisted quickly in our requests for supplies for our longer stay.

My partner rented this place as a surprise for my 40th birthday and what a wonderful surprise it was!!!! 😍 This house is so cozy! The decor is just adorable and feels so much like home. Very private and right on the river. Very little traffic and we stayed Memorial day weekend! Do not hesitate to stay here. Dorothy is so kind. We called to let her know we were heading out and she could not be sweeter. Will be staying here again as much as possible. Next time may be bringing our adult children with us as we know they would enjoy. 10/10! Cannot say enough nice things!!!! Absolutely fabulous birthday! ❤️

Riverside getaway
My wife and i wanted to spend our 5 year anniversary somewhere quiet surrounded by nature, i will say we were so impressed with the property, not only was the living quarters beautiful but the location on the river was an anglers paradise, while we were there we caught 3 different species of fish, enjoyed some great dinner and at night got to gaze up at the stars, i would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great getaway!!

Just What We Needed
Our stay at the river house was amazing. The space itself was well stocked, it was clean, the beds were comfy, and the view was beautiful! Our dog loved roaming around the yard and park picking up all of the scents:) Check in was simple and communication with Dorothy was smooth from start to finish. We returned for our second mini vacation this weekend. Our family of four (plus dog), has plenty of room, and enough the kids can bring a friend. The dock by the river is good sized, great for a picnic, fishing, swimming. We bring our kayaks, go up the River, and float back. We really enjoyed it.
