The staff was incredibly friendly and professional especially Jessica and Sarah. And one of the housekeeping lady. The room was clean and most of the Property has remodeled. However, the beds are too firm for me. I have a bad back so I require a soft bed. So I drop one star for that, if you prefer a harder bed this place would be perfect for you. I still would recommend a stay here.

Great place and great value in LHC. The city is long and drawn out but Island Suites is probably near the centre. The property is a bit run down and could probably do with some updating but nothing challenging or unpleasant. The free breakfast is nice but pretty limited. For somewhere to eat try Black Bear Diner or the College Street Brewhouse - both excellent value.

We stayed there one night. And hotels are getting so expensive. We decided to stay because everything was rated as good and it was. The lady checked us in was nice and the air conditioner was standard air conditioning in the wall. It was a little noisy, but she came in. Because all the markings were worn off the dial, she set the air conditioner for us to cool the room off and get rhe twmp down to a decent temperature at night overall. The breakfast was a continental, so I'm gluten intolerant and yogurt worked for me and I had coffee. My fiancee had a donut and she said it was fresh. I would not stay there longer than a couple nights, but it was good for a one night stay and that was it
