It has been smooth communication with the host, Penny, an avid gardener. The cottage is set in a beautiful garden. There are 2 bedrooms that accommodate 5 adults. As there are only 2 of us, so we took the front room with King size bed. We like firm mattress and we had excellent rest. A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach but I think we figured it out after a few days. Reliable cell service is back at the Orwell Creek Road turnoff, for those wondering. For a last minute booking, it worked out well and appreciate the good communication from Brent. Review by ‘All Others’.
