Property is a ski lodge trying to make some money in the summer months. There is no A/C, which I do not remember seeing when I chose this facility. No staff on site, although the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Spent the night with only a ceiling fan after a day in 90 degree temperatures. Not a pleasant experience.

Good for short stay, might stay again in future
Overall its good for solo travelers. You get queen bed, small kitchen, fan, TV, bathroom. I feel a table and chair is missing, specially if you get take away food and want to eat in room. Its a smaller than average rooms but good for a short stay. Parking is available, I believe 1 for each room. I didn't get any instructions for the check-in. Since there is no front desk, I was expecting an email or SMS. When I reached at the hotel, luckily the housekeeping folks were there so they helped me out by calling the owner. However, there is a number provided which I would have called if no one else was there.

That was really nice and pleasant experience. Perfect place to stay for group of friends as we are. Kitchenette is very helpful and comfortable. Stuff is nice, rooms are clean and cozy.

Best inexpensive stay
The room was amazing. We usually choose budget options because we only spend the night in the room. This was the best room we have stayed in South Lake Tahoe so far. We didn't want to leave the room in the morning. The good: - Clean - Yellow lights instead of white lights - Very tasteful decoration - Fireplace! - Coffee maker in the room - Very comfortable for quality/price - Spacious (for the price)

The mountain cabin style gave it tons of charm, unlike a generic hotel room. The fireplace doubling as a heater was cozy. The mini fridge was good-sized to fit our food.

Website said it came with a TV and DVD player. No DVD player and when I called, they said that there haven't been DVD players in the rooms for 4 years! TV was a pain to figure out how to watch live. No good instructions. Having no one on the property (management) was also a downside. Would not stay again!
