Squaw Valley, lodge#4B, village, resort. Ski in/out luxury accommodations.

A cozy, rather smaller than a typical SVL studios but convenient queen bed plus a twin bunk bed studio at squaw Valley Lodge. A true ski in ski out location. Only a few steps to the chairlifts and the tram. Enjoy and relax in the four star large lobby, sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, and work out at the well equipped exercise room or play tennis. The underground garage parking is a huge advantage. Only steps to the shops restaurants and all other amenities of the lodge. The studio will accommodate conveniently three guests. The unit does not have a formal kitchen but a standard countertop bar where there is a toaster, a microwave, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker.
There are adequate number of dinnerware and basic utilities, silverware, wine glasses, cups, ets.
The underground garage has even two charging stations for electric cars. The elevator will access you from the parking garage into the lobby of the building. There is facility in the garage for ski tuning with electrical outlet, adequate lighting and a bench. Tuning equipment and tools are not provided, please bring your own. Additionally the lodge has two Jacuzzis, sauna, exercise room, two tennis courts, a conference room, free Internet access, beautifully decorated lobby with Fireplace, and the 24 hours front desk services. I encourage you to check with me the day before your departure for possibility of late departure or even a special fee for one or two additional nights to stay.
As you may know there are always activities, concerts, art and music festivals and events at Squaw Valley. Check the Squaw Valley, Alpine website for the schedule. The website will also show you the daily lift openings and trails, the weather forecast and the snow condition. Make a note that you can ski at Alpine Meadows with the same ticket that you purchase for Squaw. There is a free shuttle bus service every half hour that will take the guests from Squaw Valley to Alpine Meadows Resort and the Resort at Squaw Creek where you can enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and ice-skating. If you have some energy left from your day time skiing or if you get to the resort late afternoon, you will have the option of night skiing in the longest night skiing trails in California by taking the tram all the way up to the recently renovated high camp restaurant and bar. Lodge 4B was a great location for enjoying Palisades Tahoe. It matched the description to a "t". I highly recommend if you're looking for accommodations close to the Tahoe lifts and nearby restaurants.

Perfect location, no frills accommodation
This is the second bedroom of a suite, totally locked off, so basically like a hotel room with a few small appliances. It’s was the perfect size for a parent and child, and literally steps from everything at the Palisades base. The hot tubs and other SVL amenities were a great feature. Super easy, free parking

Did not get how small the space was from the pictures, that was the only drawback as we were three adults

Awesome ski-in/ski-out location.
Loved the accessibility to everything Squaw. Just steps to lifts, restaurants, shops. Underground parking was easy; once you're parked, you're set for a great vacation. Photos on site need to be updated; the property is not decorated in the same way as depicted. Communication with property manager/owner was easy.

Cute studio very well located close to the lifts - true walk in / out skiing at Squaw
While the studio is quite small it is very centrally located only 100 yards from the nearest couple of lifts. Unlike in the main village area, this apartment is in a quiet zone slightly away from Le Chamoix bar and the main restaurants. You also have access to the pools and hot tubs of the main lodge. Parking is very convenient - just under the building. Trolleys for ferrying you luggage to and from the apartment are available by the elevator. Sleeps two comfortably, three in a pinch in a pull out bed.

Comfortable and convenient spot!
You couldn't ask for a better place for a ski weekend with friends. The unit is right next to the village at Squaw with quick access to the ticket office, equipment rental, and lifts. It's a perfect size room for 2 or 3 people. Beds are comfortable and the water pressure is pretty good. The underground parking is a nice detail to not overlook, especially if you're visiting during a crazy snow storm. Highly recommend this listing!
