The Galaxy Boutique Hotel was clean, quiet, had a great view of Lake Tekapo and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and warm and fully equipped. We will stay again.

This accommodation was incredible. The views were breathtaking and the bathroom was probably our favourite part. A big window in front of the bath so you could look out the window to the mountains and stars! The roof window is next level perfection! Loved having a romantic stay here with my partner, stargazing and relaxing. The staff were so lovely and helpful and breakfast was delicious! Please please please book this in for your next stay!!!

The room was not in a clean state at all. Dust on all over the skirtings and soap scum and mould in the bathroom shower area. When I told the staff member at reception at check out time . She advised they only clean these areas every 2 weeks. I showed her the photos I took and didn’t seem too fussed. Wouldn’t recommend to others or stay again. Definitely not value for money.

The room was comfortable with such nice view. However, we could not see any star at all from our sunroof, it is just so dark, the photo of sunroof is misleading.

Great scenic location with friendly service.
We booked this hotel because of its uniqueness of its description of having a sky window to view the stars from the bed. This didn't meet up with our expectations because the sky window is quite small and viewing capacity is very limited. However staff is really friendly and we enjoy the toom service breakfast which comes with our room rate. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Its located on an elevated section and we have an amazing view of lake tekapo and the surrounding mountains.
