Charming!
This small house is just as enchanting as it looks in the photos! It is well equipped and Olivier was quick to respond when we asked for help with the washing machine. It is located in quiet countryside and it should be noted that, although the VRBO pin makes it appear to be very close to the charming village of Lalinde, it is actually a bit of a drive on country roads. I am so glad I found this place.

Because I can only give 5 stars
We have stayed at many VRBO properties. Never have we come as guests and left as friends. Isabelle and Olivier were welcoming and let us check in early (and even offered it--rare) into the house they renovated with love and respect. It is warm, welcoming and with tremendous ambiance. I think we are the first Americans to stay there but hopefully not the last. They cooked an amazing meal for the two of us including local wine and aperitifs with them. All at a very low cost. After a long bike ride, we drove nowhere and had a dinner fait à la maison including wild mushrooms sourced from the property but brought to our house. Truly amazing experience and not to be missed. Leftovers provided the next night's dinner. Olivier took us on a sportif hike the next day for incredible views of the Dordogne River and caves high above the river hidden in the cliffs. Our only regrets are twofold--that we had to leave and that we could only give 5 Stars. The stay deserved 10 or 11.

Séjour très agréable
Cette location est parfaite pour les vacanciers qui cherchent la tranquillité et la campagne. Les propriétaires sont très sympas et discrets. Il faut toute fois signaler qu'il y a des animaux en liberté sur la propriété ( poules, lapin, pigeons) qui viennent régulièrement vous voir mais qui ne sont aucunement dérangeant. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et nous conseillons cette location dans cette merveilleuse région qui offre tant de choses à faire.

A nice stay on the top of a hill in a quiet neighbourhood
We had a lovely 10 days on the top of a hill, straight up from the lovely town of Lalinde. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Very nice views and a good garden to sit in. The landlady was on the road -good for her- and we where welcomed by the neighbour Olivier. A very nice and friendly chap. All was relaxed and everything went very well. Something to recommend.

cool refuge on hot summer days
Beautiful nature, summer silence, starry nights and cool rooms in the basement during the great heat - we spent a lovely time here with the whole family and felt very comfortable.

Joli maison restauree dans un environnement calme
Nous avons passé un agreable sejour dans cette maison renovee et tres bien équipée Située à quelques kilomètres de Lalinde, petit bourg dynamique, cette location permet de visiter les bastides du Perigord pourpre et les incontournables du Perigord noir autour de La Roque Gageac Merci à Isabelle et Olivier et leur compagnons à poils et à plumes pour leur acceuil ds ce coin paisible et leurs conseils de balades : le marché d’Issigeac un dimanche matin restera un excellent souvenir de ce petit detour en Dordogne ! 😊

Le Périgord les yeux fermés !
Le Tallet mène au bonheur.... Sympathiques et prévenants, Isabelle et Olivier ont su nous mettre à l'aise dès notre arrivée. Nous n'avons manqué de rien ! La location est très bien équipée, très propre et comporte de délicates attentions. De plus, les dalles, la pierre, le bois en font un espace chaleureux. Et en plus, nous avions le soleil !

Excellent séjour. Maison très bien équipée, magnifique, restaurée avec goût avec de très beaux matériaux. Nous avons aussi profité pleinement du jardin,... de la plancha. Située non loin de Lalinde, nous avons découvert des endroits de baignade à 15 minutes en voiture.

Excellent séjour au calme
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette résidence de Lalinde. Les propriétaires Isabelle et Olivier sont très accueillants, très sympathiques et disponibles. La jolie petite maison typique de la région a été bien aménagée, et équipée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour des vacances qui nous changent de notre quotidien. Dans le centre de Lalinde (située à 5 minutes de la maison en voiture) nous trouvons tous les commerces de première nécessité avec de bons produits ainsi que plusieurs restaurants.

Isabelle et son mari sont absolument charmants et extrêmement attentionnés tout en étant discrets. Encore merci pour l'accueil à minuit. La maison est magnifiquement rénovée, avec en plus un extérieur très agréable. Nous avons pu goûter leur cuisine faite avec des produits de leur jardin : un délice. Bravo !!! 20 sur 20

Rien à redire! Tout était parfait! Les propriétaires sont tout à fait charmants et très attentionnés, ils sont disponibles et très discrets à la fois. La maison est de toute beauté, très bien équipée. L’extérieur est bien aménagé avec une plancha, une toile au dessus du salon de jardin, une lumière extérieure, des bains de soleil très confortables. La description est conforme aux équipements, le wifi est tout à fait correct. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation!

Vacanza incantevole!
Tutto assolutamente perfetto: casa splendida, pulitissima, arredata con gusto ed attrezzata di tutto quello che può servire ed anche di più. La regione che la circonda è stata una vera sorpresa, una delle più belle dell’intera Francia: tutto un susseguirsi di castelli e villaggi spettacolari in mezzo ad una natura rigogliosa. Ma tutto questo è ancora poco se paragonato alla gentilezza e alla squisita disponibilità dei padroni di casa Isabelle ed Olivier (coi loro due educatissimi figli, la cagnolona Ina e l’anatra domestica…) che fanno ogni cosa per rendere ancora più piacevole la permanenza. Più che ospiti abbiamo trovato degli amici che speriamo di poter rivedere presto! Grazie di cuore, torneremo senz’altro. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!
