We loved the room. Very clean and quiet. However, there was construction at the front entrance and we had to ask a construction worker how to enter the building. Then we had a hard time finding the entrance to the garage. After construction is finished things should be great!

The room itself was great! Very clean however entering the hotel was a mess...the only instruction I received was to enter the garage and I ended up walking in circles to find said entrance. Another issue was only one elevator was working until the day we left and there is 18 or 19 floors in the whole hotel. I also couldn't connect my visit to the app at all and had to pay for internet despite having an account. No working vending machine on our floor so we had to go out at night to pick up snacks and drinks while the surrounding area had a massive homeless community.

Marriott should be ashamed of how this property looks and is being operated currently (September 2024). They are doing construction of the front entrance, so there is no place to pull your car up when you arrive. They have a side entrance, however to pull your car up, you are in a lane of traffic and people driving by will honk and almost run into your car. They instruct guests to park in the parking lot for the convention center (around the block), and then "bring your bags through the sky-walk." This is not convenient in any way, and if you can't find a parking spot close to the sky-walk entrance you have to carry your bags around the parking garage, then carry them through the sky-walk, and into the hotel. When we checked in (around 5 pm) there was NO hotel staff to help with the bags. After speaking with multiple front-desk staff finally one of the front-desk staff helped with the bags. The rooms are very average. And the location is pretty poor, it feels unsafe at night. The only friendly and helpful Marriott staff member was the concierge. I would never stay at this hotel again, and not recommend it.

The parking garage was so inconvenient for transporting luggage into building. The shower in the bathroom was impossible to adjust proper water temperature. It would change from ice cold to scalding hot during the shower. Housekeeping left us 1 washcloth for 3 adults. The room had no drawers or any kind of shelf or storage for clothing other than a slim closet for clothes on hangers.

The location of the hotel was very convenient and close to downtown shopping. At the time of our arrival, the front of the hotel had construction, and we were not able to access the parking garage next door to the hotel which was an unfortunate inconvenience. Other than that, our stay was very comfortable, and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Nice welcome upon arrival. The employees are professional and caring. Quality accommodations are located in a trending area. There is a Farmers Market, one of the oldest, located across the street. Check the dates/ times that it is open. Museums, shopping, and Franklin and Marshall are within an easy distance. Parking at this central city location is easy; the parking garage is a city facility. Note: Check-in and then drive to the garage. The Marriott and baggage carts are accessible on the second floor of the garage. We enjoyed the hotel's quiet atmosphere located in the heart of Lancaster.

This was the first time ever being in the "city" of Lancaster, so it is very different than the Amish/Farmland I am use to, but it was a very nice stay. There is off site parking, but the parking garage is very easy to get to, but you are charged a daily rate for parking there. Also, note that there are a lot of ONE WAY streets there.....soooooo just keep that in mind while you are in the area. I would not want anyone to go down a one way street by accident.... not saying anyone did that, but, there is that. (haha). Go, Enjoy! It is a perfect spot close to a lot of things!
