Private, unique getaway in the center of the Berkshires. We're a 3 minute walk to the Ashuwillticock rail trail. Situated on over 100 wooded acres with lots of walking trails, extraordinary trees, land forms and private seating areas and spaces to explore.

The cottage is a newly built. Super comfortable space above a stand alone 3 car garage. We have a private entry driveway and parking area exclusive to the cottage. Open floor plan with fun window seats, full kitchen and living room and full bath. It's a unique thoughtful design.

The property is private. It’s the back half of the main house garage but it is well appointed and decorated. All one room. Nice kitchen and bath. Great stereo and TV. It was cold and snowing so we do no explore the trails on the property.

Overall, our stay was great! My girlfriend and I made a quick decision to head up to the slopes to start the new year and found this perfect spot! Great area, 15 mins to multiple ski resorts, cleanly, easy access, had everything we needed. Will be back for sure!

PERFECT Weekend Getaway spot!
This idyllic location in Berkshires is close to nearby Lenox, Stockbridge and Mount Greylock State Reservation. One thing to note is that the mountain road is closed from November 1st even on weekends so access to the summit is only possible by hiking and many of the local trails start higher up along that road. We tried to do the Mount Williams trail, which was designated as an easy hike... however due to the gate being closed it was harder than we anticipated. The area however is gorgeous and we found some cool shops and GREAT food. The cabin was so quiet and beautiful everything you could possibly need. Loved our little getaway and will definitely come back when the road isn't closed to check out more mountains. Olivia's Overlook was a lovely place for some pics. Museum Outlets in Pittsfield had some of the best and unique gifts! Fun, fun place and Pizzeria Boema had the absolute BEST wood fired pizza my husband and I ever had. Would LOVE to return to this perfectly situated, cozy and welcoming cottage for another trip to see more of the Berkshires in the future.

We enjoyed my birthday getaway at this cozy retreat! Lots of little towns to visit and places to eat. The carriage house was very clean and located in a very quiet area. Our only suggestion would be to have written instructions on how to run the heater unit. It’s a great place to stay!

The cottage is amazing. We were thrilled by how clean it was. It was very cozy and comforting to stay inside. The surrounding area and property are made to be enjoyed through nature (check out Mount Greylock if you go). Lots of hiking trails and easy walks. You can have a fire right outside, and they even set up a fire for us! This is one of the best, if not the best, stays I have had. You will not be disappointed. Also Lasco was very nice and sweet. Gave us a tour on the trails. We hope to see him again.

CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!
My wife and I were in town for a wedding and decided to make a weekend out of it. This carriage house was everything we could've hoped for and more! It had everything we needed (kitchen, dishwasher, coffeemaker, full bathroom, TV, etc.) as well as a great decor that reflected a Berkshires getaway. The space was clean, organized, and easy to use. Christopher was extremely responsive, immediately addressed all our questions, and even offered to ship me back my Hydro Flask water canteen that I accidentally left in the fridge!

Overall, our stay was pleasant. We have lots of experience staying at houses. We think a note to future guest include the location of bed. Some guests may not be able to negotiate the tight space. At some houses, a laminated guest information and instruction booklet is on site in order to get the guest familiar with any rules, or directions on how to make stay easier. Perfectly located spot. Everything in the area was easily accessible no matter which direction. Place was clean and exactly as described. Host was wonderful and so was his dog! We’d stay here again without question.
