At the time we stayed, the elevators were under construction so it was a very long wait at times for the single working elevator. We ended up taking the stairs down from the 10th floor more than once due to long waits and full elevators.

The staff is fantastic and overall I liked the look and feel of the hotel. A few issues- I was put in a double bed room despite booking a king, the elevators are in need of maintenance, the door to the walking bridge back to the hotel was locked during the hours it was supposed to be open, and the air conditioning to the building has been out long enough that large portable ac units are placed throughout the lower floor lobby and dining areas. It works in the rooms but everywhere else felt hot and stuffy. And this is minor but the sprinkler in our room was jutting out of a rough cut hole in the drywall.

Our stay was great! My wife and I came to town to celebrate our 5th anniversary and hit out town for pride fest. Stay was great. Room was very clean, shower was amazing. No complaints.

Not Worth The Price Of Admission
This is a conference hotel in downtown Lansing with 11 or 12 floors, and at the time only had 1 working elevator. The desk staff was not welcoming and appeared to be annoyed by having to even wait on people. We were given free drink passes for the sundry or at the restaurant. The sundry was closed for the day, no worries. The bar/restaurant, however, was "please wait to be seated" but after the bartender and 2 waitstaff looked at us and didn't acknowledge our presence, we decided to go elsewhere. The room, was just another hotel room. It did have a nice view of the river, but there was just nothing making it stand out from the rest. The vanity in the bathroom had a broken leg, there was debris under it as well, the exhaust fan in the shower could stand to be cleaned, and the shower glass looked like they hadn't been cleaned from top to bottom in a week. Now, that said, they do have one of the nicest fitness rooms we have seen in a while and the pool area looked nice as well.

1st room that we entered had a bath that smelled like sewer. Waited 30 mins for another room which was fine. The elevator doors seemed filthy, maybe just the finish on them? I was disappointed that we were unable to get lunch here.
