Having spent 40 yrs. in the Hospitality, Fine Dining & Travel industry myself, the 1521 Hotel & Spa is a shining example of the level of quality & excellence that can be achieved by a dedicated staff when given the proper management, training & resources at a top notch property! I honestly can't say enough about the pleasure and comfort my girlfriend & I had staying at the 1521 Hotel & Spa! So much that we extended our stay even when we had reservations already paid for at another highly recommended hotel in Lapu-Lapu, the super-friendly staff, amenities and superior quality of the 1521 Hotel & Spa made it almost impossible to leave at end of our initial stay! So we didn't leave after our original booked stay, and huge kudos to Kara-Len Sato, Rooms Division Manager & her phenomenal staff at the 1521 Hotel & Spa for making us feel like royalty & like we were part of their family. It was truly a huge pleasure staying there and I'll be recommending it everyone I know & meet that are coming to the Cebu and Lapu-Lapu area, not to mention it's super close proximity to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport with fantastic views of the Magellan Bay and close to the Mactan Shrine dedicated to Chief LAPULAPU & his Filipino Warriors in 1521!

The staff are all welcoming. They welcomed us with calamansi juice drink, very refreshing. My sons and I had a quick good nap in this establishment while waiting for our early flight the following day. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’ll go to Cebu.

I enjoyed my stay here. The spa services were phenomenal! However, housekeeping services were not as excellent as I expected. I had to inform housekeeping services to provide me with towels and water; it wasn't done daily. Overall, the dining and Spa services were excellent!
