This a home that was built in 2012. It is outfitted with new everything, appliances, beds, furniture, gas grill, linens, everything.Very open floor plan with 25 foot ceiling in the great room. Huge 17 foot high fireplace in the great room. Open balcony above with 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The walkout basement level is now finished, it now has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and 3 couches. So there are five beds in all, a king sized one in the master bedroom, 2 queen sized beds in the upper loft area and 2 queen sized beds in the basement. hot tub out back. Huge deck off the great room. The back of the home faces SW overlooking the beautiful river valley. The lights of Sioux Falls can be seen in the distance 12 miles away.

The house was clean, had a lot of space, and in a great location. The upstairs is open to the great room (loft style) so if you have people waking/sleeping at different times, like small kids along with young adults like we did, that can be a little tricky. Overall, great place to stay!

Perfect for a Weekend Getaway!
We absolutely loved our stay at this house. The fireplaces are cozy, there's so much room to spread out, and the hot tub is an added bonus we enjoyed. The house in the country was so quiet and a wonderful change from the city.

This house was perfect for our brother/sister weekend (4 families) with plenty of space for everyone. If someone needed a little quiet space the 2 living rooms provided it. The deck was perfect for sunrise/sunset viewing. Just a gorgeous house from top to bottom with everything we needed.

Friends weekend!
The booking process and communication with the hosts before our trip was great. Kevin answered and/or accommodated any questions I had. House was clean and and accurate based off the listing, beautiful property without any neighbors too close so we didn't have to worry if our music was too loud or if we were bothering anyone else! The house had a ton of amenities that we utilized such as the patio area, grill, hot tub, along with different household items that we were able to use that made our stay very easy and stress free!. Only good things to say about our experience, highly recommend this place for any gathering or weekend away with friends or family! Thank you Kevin and Garn for letting us enjoy your home!

Beautiful Views Just Outside of Sioux Falls, SD
The place was gorgeous and was just as expected. So much fun was had by all and it was the perfect location for driving to Sioux Falls. The sunset views from the deck were amazing and we had plenty of room for the kids to run around and play.

This was the perfect house to celebrate some milestones with a close group of friends! There was plenty of space to gather without being crowded in both indoor and outdoor spaces. The house is beautiful and the location and views were amazing. The house was clean and supplied with every amenity you would need.

Property with amazing back windows
Our group really enjoyed their stay at this home. It was stocked with all the appliances needed, however the oven was a little difficult to run the timer with it being dented in where you push the buttons but still worked! The windows were amazing for views, the outside trees took up a lot of view of the river unless walked down the hill through the brush. An outside fire pit in front of the home by the parking area would have been awesome, we did not walk far enough to explore the one in the picture. Checking in process was different, as I had to message for check in information instead of being informed a few hours before check in time. Host didn’t ever check in to make sure things were going okay, as I have in the past however everyone runs their VRBO listing differently. Overall an awesome house to call home for a few days.

Great Family Getaway
The property and house were amazing! We had two seniors, 4 adults, 4 kids under 10 years old, and we all had plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable, yet still be together. Great amenities! Tons of pots, pans, utensils, towels, etc. Even though it was in the 90’s when we stayed, we all managed to walk to the river two different days. My 80 year old dad loved exploring! Having the big yard, deck, and hot tub was also great! We would 100% stay here again. Thank you.

Moms Weekend Away
This property was a wonderful location for our annual Moms Weekend getaway. The variety of spaces to hang out as a group were wonderful, and we loved having so many bedrooms and bathrooms to use. Amazing place!
The place itself was amazing and the host was excellent and easy to correspond with. We would have liked to use the campfire pit but the gras was not cut around it and it was over knee high. Love that the kitchen was fully stocked woth lots of dishes and small appliances to make our days super comfortable and hosting dinner was a breeze. Lots of towels and bedding provided! We would highly recomend this place! The views are really spectacular.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin so much that we rebooked again for next year. We loved being out in the country away from the noise & people. It was scenic and the cabin itself is decorated and furnished perfectly. There was ample parking for everyone. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of bedding. We wished the fire pit would've been closer to the house so we didn't use it at all but we did enjoy the basketball hoop that was near the fire pits.

Home on the range
This is the third time I stayed at this property, all with different groups of people. This most recent stay was with our adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren. The property, which does remind me of a home on the range, is a great space for kids to play. Unfortunately, the wood ticks were out and about which affected the desire to go out and explore. I was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the home and overall organization. The stove and under beds need more attention when cleaning. The kitchen cupboards should be organized allowing people to more easily find items as well as put them back where they belong. The manual could be updated with a guide on TV channels, where to find the DVD player and other minor updates. I like this property, but I feel like it has gone downhill just a bit since we last visited in 2021.

Great girls weekend
We love walking the property!! With a nearby hunting area we stay far from other cars/trucks parked nearby. We Have never seen hunters but wearing a little hunter orange made us feel safe. Might be nice if the house had an orange vest or hat to borrow

Wooded Oasis
Such a lovely and well-appointed property close to Sioux Falls. We had a girls weekend at this property and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hottub was wonderful, the kitchen was well stocked, and so much space for everyone. We had lots of laughs and will return for another girls weekend.
