This property is really beautiful and rustic. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are old with paint missing in spots but they are kept very clean. I think they are remodeling but that takes time. The bedding was clean and comfortable. I think they were having electrical problems while I was there because they were run by a generator which quit working at 6 am. However they got it back up and running in a little over an hour. There internet was down so no tv. All in all I had an enjoyable visit and would like to return.

It is a the middle of the mountains and had amazing views on top of being quiet and serene. Great place to just unwind and completely relax or go hiking. We happen to arrive just as snow was falling and just excited us even more. Quiet restaurant with delicious food, a 24 hour convenience store and a bar in one corner that was not overwhelming. Our room was aged but in great shape and super clean. Loved every minute of my stay. I completely unplugged and enjoyed the peace. I have to acknowledged the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were all amazing. From Victor and Crystal in the Canyon Restaurant, to Linda in the convenience store and Gabriel the Porter and his sister at the front desk. The other ladies at the front desk were just as amazing. I just didn’t catch their names. They made me and my daughters feel like they’ve always known us. Loved it!

Staff was very courteous, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel itself needs work, big pot holes in driveway and parking lot, lobby was dusty , doors in room need repainting , bathroom sink had cracks and no stopper . Electrical outlet in room had no cover, Beds were not that comfortable. Hotel needs landscape maintenance. With some TLC could be a great place , nice escape ,good location to get out of town.

Things I didn't like: The mattress was hard as a rock - not comfortable. There were cobwebs in the room (bathroom especially). I like to leave the light on in the bathroom to find my way. However, the light and fan were together and it was noisy. No way to shut the fan. The Canyon restaurant had shoddy furniture. I almost fell in the first chair I sat on. It was broken. The replacement chair was also unsteady. The table had very little finish on it - extremely old. Things I liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful location. Smooth check in and check out. Lots of pillows, good room darkening shade. Overall, it could have been better.

Nicest staff who greeted us! The hotel was overall good but some things were kind of old. It was very hot and stuffy in the room and the window was broken. Most areas were clean but there was some dust on lamps in our room. The price very affordable so we were happy with what we got. Thank you!

It’s in pretty bad shape. The common areas are nice looking but run down and the rooms are not very clean and in desperate need of renovation, which they are supposedly doing. The food at restaurant was mediocre but the only food in the area. The area is pretty, but this hotel is not in the trees.

The place has no entertainment whatsoever. But they have wifi. It is very close to the strip so you don’t have to get a room here unless you are planning to go to the Lee Canyon Ski Resort to avoid traveling and be first in line in the ski resort.

Just plain nasty
The common areas are decent. But the rooms are just gross. The pictures online are terribly misleading. The furniture, base boards, walls and beds are very aged and beat up. Rooms with carpets are foul. Dirty with food and grossness around the edges of the wall. The mattresses had urine and blood stains. There was vomit on the wall in the bathroom. The phone was full of dust and food. They said they were 100% full but manager found another room without carpeting. It was a bit better but still pretty bad. It’s a lovely location but owners just don’t take pride in the place. Really sad. Do not recommend staying here.

Property and location are nice. Room was fine but run down. The mattress was one of the worst I've ever slept on, only out numbered by a deflated air mattress. The pillows, well I don't think I'd even call them pillows, more like scraps of foam and stuffing in a pillowcase. And to top it off the water didn't get above luke warm so the shower was terrible! Come for the location but not the comfort.

Beautiful setting but very remote. No elevator so carried luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Restaurant on property however prices very high. For instance 8 oz almond milk $5.
