We arrived in the evening knowing that this hotel had no reception, signage was poor and it took a while to find the safe where the key to the room was located. We were in room 2. The door didnā€™t close properly and was in poor condition so we used the chain for security but it was very flimsy and didnā€™t provide comfort to us that we were safe. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, dust on the furniture and the mugs werenā€™t overly clean. The bathroom has been renovated and looks quite nice but donā€™t move the shower head or the water from where the head connects will spray out all over the bathroom and flood the floor and wet your belongings that you have placed on the counter, including the only pair of pyjamas you brought with you. Yep. There is nobody there on the weekend so too bad if you want a fresh towel or need anything. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing we have ever slept on, it was like sleeping on a hard floor and my back is still hurting from it. We have never been happier to check out of a hotel!

The room was spacious and there was good cutlery and crockery provided. Ample tea and coffee Convenient to town and the city park opposite is beautiful. The hot tap over the bathroom sink screamed when turned on. Rey noisy for guests. Face washers would have been welcome if provided

The room was very neat and appears to have had an upgrade at some stage. There were a few minor things that it did not have that most motels/hotels offer. No microwave, no plates or bowls, no knives or forks, no milk in fridge for a coffee or tea, no toaster. There was also a hole in the sliding door to the bathroom.

We stayed in a spa room, at the back of the motel for one night. It had the usual amenities of a motel room, it was clean, quiet, reasonably large, comfortable and well maintained. Our room was up a flight of stairs, as were about half of them, not a problem for us. There was plenty of parking and it was a quick walk to the CBD, across from the park. There is no one at reception, we received an email about 48 hours prior to check in, with a code for the key safe. The procedure was simple, and there was a phone number available for any problems. The hotel, for us was value for money, we highly recommend it and will be back the next tie we are staying in Launceston.

A self check-in motel - email code not received but easily and efficiently resolved by a qick phone call. An older property with stairs as shown on website. Our Premier Queen room was spacious, very clean, good bed and large recently renovated bathroom - all great. Excellent location opposite the beautiful CityGardens and just a short stroll to the CDB. Not so good - older TV, minimal crockery/cutlery (a min. of 2 bowls & plates and 2 spoons & knives is suggested), no microwave, older but OK chairs. Overall excellent value for the rate paid!

There was no light bulb in the bedside lamp so I couldnā€™t read my book, the main ceiling light was dull. The bathroom vanity tap was drip, drip, drip all night. I left my phone charger in the room and no service to post it to me. Which I would have paid for. The shower was great with very hot water and good pressure.
