There is a kitchenette with a full-sized fridge and countertop appliances. Outside is a beautiful pool,2 firepits, 4 lounging areas, a Blackstone griddle and a charcoal grill. Free WiFi & parking. The space
Laurel, MS is most famous for its popular HGTV show, “Hometown”. This beautiful property, situated on rolling acres, is located about 8 mins from downtown Laurel where there are numerous nifty shops and eateries (esp the noted “Pearl’s Diner”). It is also about 10 mins from Bok Homa Casino; 30 mins from Dunn’s Falls; 45 mins from Meridian; less than 2 hrs from Bilouxi and about 2:15 from New Orleans.

Cottage
There were some issues with this property and the layout. The tv remote did not work well. The only shower opens to the main area and only has a flimsy curtain and no where inside are any hooks or shelf to lay any items. The loft area is difficult to get to with the narrow stairs and the bed was against the wall with a slanted ceiling and not comfortable. We had reserved two nights but left after the first night.

Really cool property on the outskirts of town, but convenient to Laurel and the interstate. Place was accurate to the listing and the property owners were very nice.

Quiet retreat
Slightly hidden retreat on a quiet country hill. Vrbo didn’t have the instructions for parking and entry but our host communicated well. Friendly dogs onsite were contained by host. The house by pool was creatively decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful nature.
