2021 full renovation to this charming cottage on Lake Hartwell. Enjoy the privacy of the woods and convenience of a covered boat slip. Property is located in Gumlog and is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The neighborhood roads are privately maintained and a great place for walks and to enjoy nature. Tugaloo State Park is 2 miles away from the cottage and offers trails, swimming, and boat ramp. Boats are available to rent at nearby marina.

Great boat dock!
Stayed here for a short weekend getaway with our dog. Darrin and Renee were very gracious and responsive to questions. Place is as pictured and had everything we needed. The house is located in a quiet part of the lake, so we enjoyed hanging out on the dock and kayaking in peace without having to deal with a lot of boats. Will stay here again!

Short weekend
It was very clean and easy to get too by boat. It would have been nice to have a table on deck to eat. The one on it was rotten. Big drop from steps to dock. It woukd have been nice to have some furniture on dock and regular grill. Would stay again.

We had so much fun on our weekend stay here. The home is immaculately clean, smells wonderful & has the cutest décor! You can see the lake from the living room window - the walk down to the dock is easy & the dock itself is amazing! Definitely recommend!

Summer Rental
We decided to rent this adorable lakefront cottage for 6 weeks of the summer. It was very convenient for us since we live about 35 minutes away. We were able to keep our jet ski at the lake and enjoy afternoons on the dock, in a quiet cove. The house is beautifully updated and comfortable. The neighborhood is also quiet and nice for walks and our son enjoyed riding his bike up and down the hills. We enjoyed evening fires in the firepit area, and sat on the porch with our morning coffee, looking out over the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We spent 6 weeks making a lifetime of memories as a family. The location on the lake is very close to Harbor Light Marina. We drove our ski over and had dinner at Tillly’s Tiki Hut and it was a great environment. The property owners were wonderful and check-in and check-out was east and convenient. Our son is already asking if we can do this again next summer. We would highly recommend this property!

Perfect Getaway!
This is the first time in quite awhile that we've come back from booking a rental home saying, "we would definitely go back." The cottage is charming and very inviting. Very clean. It was such a delight sitting on the deck for lunch (or, in the case of my husband, softly playing his mandolin). Enjoyed the dock. Coming from the mountains, we loved all the trees and birds. The neighborhood was great for long walks. Met all our expectations.

Just right!
This cabin is just right. It's adorable- spacious (more so than photos can depict)- and clean. Location on the lake is awesome- 15 min boat ride to Harbor Light Marina. Kitchen was well stocked and made meals a breeze. Lake access easy for almost anyone- not steep or long path. Had a wonderful week and would love to come back !very easy access from 1-85 as well- and groceries 15 minutes away.

Fun family getaway!
The house is exactly as portrayed in the pictures and descriptions. The bathrooms were very well lit and had natural lighting as well. The dock and covered boat slip were perfect for storing our fishing boat and paddleboard and our son loved cast netting from both the dock and shore. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. My son and I took our pup on morning walks and met some of the neighbors who are very nice! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had prior to our arrival.

Wanted a place, so we could swim and fish. The pier was perfect! Water deep enough for kids to jump in. Caught several catfish, and bream. House is extremely clean, AC works great. Renee was super easy to work with, and very understanding. Great property!

Very easy process to rent this unit. Great communication with owners. The place was so clean and smelled wonderful. Very well stocked and had essential items on hand. The weather didn’t cooperate and we had severe thunderstorms and wind every day but overall it was a nice trip away.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!
The house was exactly as advertised and very clean upon arrival. Had the perfect amount of kitchen amenities, pots and pans and basic necessities. The property, side covered porch and dock were wonderful places to enjoy catching up with family. We rented a boat and enjoyed having the covered dock space. The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs we did have. We look forward to staying again.
