Le Diamant - Charming villa, private pool and tropical garden 300m from the sea

Our villa is located 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach, 5 minutes walk from a supermarket nearby, 5 minutes drive from the local daily market, the village and the bay of Diamant.

It is in the heart of a small residence composed only of villas, trees and extremely quiet (well away from the road).

The house nestles in the middle of a lush garden, in a fully enclosed space.

In front of its private pool, it is spread over 56 m2 and is surrounded by a wooden terrace of 40 m2 surmounted by a carbet.
The villa consists of a main house and a wooden bungalow (master suite). These 2 structures communicate through the terrace (no communicating door between the 2).
For this reason, we do not recommend our accommodation to families with children under 10 years old.

The house has an air-conditioned double room (bed 140), a living room with 2 pull-out beds, a Wifi Box + TV and a shower room and toilet.
The large master suite is equipped with a bed of 160, a shower and separate toilet. Possibility to add an extra bed.

The outdoor kitchen is in the extension of the terrace and overlooks the garden and pool.

4 sunbeds, 1 hammock, 1 swing chair, board games and books for all are at your disposal for your relaxation!

Private parking secured by an electric gate.

We thought of the layout of our villa to make it an intimate place to make the most of the outdoors and the local vegetation.

Its location is ideal for cruising the south of the island.

Relaxing commune with nature
Very pleasant open-air living with well-equipped kitchen and spacious deck with lots of birds. Walk to secluded beach. You will need a car to get to restaurants and shopping. Difficult to find because no street names or numbers within La Cherry, so forget Google maps.

Little corner of heaven
Our little family of three (son aged 8) stayed here for two weeks. This is a very special place with everything we needed. Grocery store close by, two secluded beaches a short walk away and very swimable, and very central location for exploring the island. Amelie and Julien were lovely hosts, helping to orient us to Martinique and to settle in. Definitely visit La Plage de Fond Banane - great beach and the Aqua Grill is a delicious beach restaurant. So many great memories made here. Will definitely look to come back again. Merci Amélie & Julien!!!

Wonderful time!
We enjoyed staying at this cottage, with its 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Amelie and Julien were very welcoming, easy to deal with, and quite helpful. The property was clean, and the kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. It was nice having the small plunge pool. The kitchen and eating areas are open air; certain days we had mosquitoes and found that burning mosquito coils (which were supplied) worked best. The "master suite" is really lovely, with pretty decor and a comfortable bed. The 2nd bedroom is somewhat smaller, with a smaller bed (something to keep in mind if 2 couples are sharing. One couple will get more space.) La Cherry is a quiet, residential area. There's a small beach within walking distance; Le Diamant beach is great for walking and sometimes surfing (although the water can be rough, with stong currents, so not ideal for most swimming). A very calm beach is at O'Mullane, if you park your car and walk across a small soccer field. We really appreciated the information from the owner about restaurants and beaches. One thing to keep in mind: groceries stores and bakeries close at 12 noon or 1pm on Sundays! And few restaurants are open on Sundays. It's good to be prepared. Overall, we felt the rental was "good value for money " and that the space was great for a couple with 2 teenagers. We had a relaxing, no-stress vacation in Martinique and hope to return soon.

Wonderful Place for our Family Vacation
We absolutely loved staying at this gem of a place in La Cherry, Le Diamant! Amelie was an amazing host and very welcoming. The place is so unique and the picures don't even do it justice. A great beach was just a 3 minute walk away and gentler waves than Le Diamant, so good with our toddler. We also enjoyed dinners in Le Diamant and day trips to St. Anne, Les Anses D'arlet. We loved having our own pool and the beautiful gardens. The outdoor kitchen and dining space was perfect for our tropical vacation. We hope to return to Martinique some day and would love to stay here again. The rooms were lovely and it was great for our family of 3, but could fit more.

Bungalow charmant même si un peu vieillot et qui mériterait un peu de rafraîchissement. Environnement calme. Bel espace extérieur. Climatisation appréciée et ventilateur dans les 2 chambres. Accueil chaleureux par Amélie et réactivité lors des contacts pour de petits soucis techniques. Par contre pas de sèche linge contrairement à ce qui est annoncé dans les équipements, juste un séchoir à linge. Beaucoup de moustiques malgré moustiquaires et appareillage mis en place mais ça c'est pas la faute du logement...

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Amélie à notre arrivée. Elle nous avait préparé un délicieux repas pour notre premier dîner sachant que nous arrivions assez tard. La villa est entourée d’un luxuriant jardin et le voisinage est tranquille. De petites plages sont accessibles à pied. Attention, beaucoup de moustiques le soir, il faut se protéger! La villa et la cour sont sécuritaires pour les jeunes enfants.

Excellentes vacances à la Martinique : Logement propre, agréable, pas de bruits autres que ceux des grenouilles et autres petits animaux, correspondant aux photos et description de l’annonce, sans vis-à-vis, place de parking, entrée dans la résidence sécurisée. Le coin salon avec le hamac et la petite piscine sont sympas après une journée de balade. L’option repas du soir le jour d’arrivée et petit déjeuner du lendemain sont vraiment bien après la journée de voyage ! Amélie est très agréable, et à notre arrivée, la machine à a laver le linge étant en panne, elle nous a donné une solution de rechange en attendant le remplacement par une neuve 4 jours après.

Location très bien située avec une place de parking. Belle petite plage à 2 pas. Piscine appréciable. Maison bien équipée et confortable. Très bon accueil à l arrivée et au départ. Endroit calme et paisible
J'ai beaucoup apprécié la tranquillité de l'endroit. La terrasse est très intime. Les lieux sont propres et disposent de toutes les commodités. Des bouchons à oreille sont à prévoir pour ceux qui ne sont pas habituer aux sons de la nature 🐸 mais on s'y habitue rapidement😉.

Parfait, l'hôte est très convivial et répond au téléphone. Le logement est très jolie mais il ne faut pas avoir peur des bêtes (crapaud et ravets) car il y a beaucoup de végétation. Il faut aussi se préparer au piqûre de moustiques malgré les dispositions mis en place par l'hôte (moustiquaire, anti moustique). La piscine est nettoyer tout les 2 jours et le logement est complètement fonctionnel. Je recommande vivement.

C'est la 2ème fois que nous passons nos vacances dans cette location. Nous apprécions la terrasse avec le hamac, la piscine après une bonne journée de balade, le calme de la résidence, avec la faune locale qui vient nous rendre visite le soir (lézards, les petites grenouilles,...). La plage à moins de 5 min à pieds est aussi très appréciable. Merci à Amélie pour son accueil, le repas à l'arrivée est bienvenu après la journée de voyage et merci aussi pour tous ses bons conseils (visites et restos). Peut-être à une 3ème fois.
