"Bliss 59" - Beautiful Chalet with Garden

Offering the perfect holiday for a couple seeking total peace and relaxation.
We are in beautiful countryside, yet close to two local thriving villages,offering a whole array of amenities.
The chalet has been completed and tastefully decorated recently to a high standard furthermore it is fully insulated for either winter or summer occupancy. it is located in our large garden with a nice selection of trees and shrubs and a beautiful pond.
There are some very nice walks in countryside in our immediate area, however , the Normandy Beaches are not too far away.
There are 3 local markets that trade every week and are always busy, they offer a true taste of French Life.
Also , Deauville , Trouville , Honfleur , are not too far away and well worth a day out !!! We are approximately one hour's drive from the ports of Le Havre and of Ouisterham.

Blissfully, beautiful location
A wonderful, peaceful location with beautiful gardens. Perfect for easy access to charming local towns, villages and the beautiful Normandy coastline. The accommodation was very cosy and comfortable (especially the bed) with everything we needed. David and Tricia were the perfect hosts - on hand to share their extensive local knowledge and offer plenty of excellent recommendations of where to eat and visit. Thank you both for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable - we would love to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy little cottage, which was very comfortable. The only thing to top it was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We hope to see them again one day.

A Gem in the peaceful countryside
The property is ideal for two people. Lovely big gardens so quiet and peaceful but not to far from the delights of Honfleur and other coastal towns. The home had all the essentials that we needed and the owners Tricia and David went above and beyond to help out when we were stuck. If you require a lively holiday this is not for you, for a haven of tranquility, peace and quiet and the chance to de-stress i thoroughly recommend this property.

Wow.
Wow,wow,wow, an oasis of heaven on earth. Bliss 59 was superb. Located in David and Tricia's beautiful garden in a rural location. The only noise was the cheery singing of the birds. Not to rural to be that distant from anywhere. The accommodation was first class, super comfy bed and pillows, equally as comfortable chairs in the lounge area. David and Tricia have thought of everything that you would need for a fantastic holiday. These two folk are two of the nicest people you could meet and nothing is any trouble to them. Take advantage of Tricia's cooking skills and ask her to do a meal, outstanding. We would recommend here to anyone and are already looking at a return visit. Thanks ever so much both of you.

A week of bliss at Bliss!
Absolute gem of a gite with everything you could want for a comfortable holiday. Very well equipped kitchen, always plenty of hot water and a massive comfortable bed. Woke to birdsong and sunshine in this rural setting which is a great base for exploring the many charms of the local area. David & Trisha are great hosts.

Our Normandy stopover
We stayed at Bliss 59 as a 3 day stopover en route from Biarritz and Bordeaux. The property was clean and very comfortable and not far from Lisieux, Deauville and Honfleur which were well worth visiting. We wished our stay could have been longer - we would have happily spent a day relaxing in the beautiful garden and also seen more of the pretty villages nearby. David and Tricia were very welcoming hosts and we would certainly stay there again. We recomend it to you! Thank you David & Tricia. Keith & Julie

Peaceful cabin
We had a peaceful few days here. The cabin is much more spacious than expected with high ceilings. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is even satellite tv.

Peaceful surroundings, perfect for relaxing in a lovely well equipped gite.
We enjoyed our week in the gite, which was certainly the best equipped self-catering accommodation we ever have stayed in. David and Tricia were very welcoming, made sure that we had everything we needed on arrival, and provided us with lots of information on places to visit, shopping etc. It was very peaceful - just what we needed, and it was always a pleasure to return to this lovely spot after a day out.

A week in 'Bliss'
The cottage is set in the spacious grounds of the owners, Trish and David. The setting is unbelievably beautiful. The grounds are huge and manicured and include a wide selection of shrubs, trees, flowering plants, and a lovely fish pond with a a fountain which constantly babbles away providing a soft relaxing sound of moving water. A truly lovely place to return to after busy days exploring rural Normandy. The cottage is small but perfectly adequate for two people. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. A tip - take your own DVD's because the TV only offers French programmes. Be prepared that there is no true oven for self catering. The micro wave will also grill and there are two electric hob rings. With a little ingenuity, we prepared suppers using a pre-cooked chicken, or cold meats from the deli, not to mention omelets prepared with eggs from Trish's chickens. The thing we will remember the most is the quiet, calm setting- only broken by bird song in the trees. Trish and David are anxious to help their guests have a wonderful stay, and couldn't be more helpful or gracious. We will certainly return if we are in that part of France again.

A great cottage for exploring this part of France
This was a lovely cosy cottage for exploring this part of France .Not too far from almost everything. our hosts David and Trish were very friendly and helpful nothing seemed like too much trouble. Although this is a well equipped self catering cottage it offers a catering service which consists of beautiful home made food at very competitive rates.we really enjoyed our evening meals at a time we requested .Trish is great cook and David a mine of information . We hope to return again T&N

Wonderful hosts, lovely chalet.
We could not have asked for a lovelier experience! The chalet was beautiful, clean and fully equipped - even better than described. It is tucked away in a pastoral setting and surrounded by typical French countryside. What sets Bliss 59 apart, however is the charming hosts, David and Tricia. They could not have been more welcoming, helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Again thanks so much for your part in our unforgettable experience.

The 'Gite' was very well laid out and maintained, excellent shower and plenty of hot water
David and Tricia were the perfect 'Hosts', nothing was too much trouble for them, they were extremely helpful and certainly made our stay more enjoyable than we could have imagined. We have holidayed in France for many years and would certainly highly recommend this area for the beautiful countryside and many places to visit Deauville, Honfleur etc within a short drive. Will we be going to back to stay at 'Bliss 59', most certainly YES!

Verblijf om te genieten rust en natuur
Het was een heerlijke week. Het is een klein compact en schoon huisje met een goede douche en prima bed. Houd je van koken, dan mis je daarvoor de goede mogelijkheden. Gastheer en vrouw zijn zeer aardig en behulpzaam en als je ze nodig hebt zijn ze er voor je. Je bent vrij, ondanks dat ze naast je wonen.

Séjour très agréable et reposant
Un petit chalet douillet au calme dans un grand parc où notre berger australien a pu se dépenser à loisir. Les propriétaires David et Tricia sont discrets et d'une très grande gentillesse. Le cadeau de bienvenue a été très apprécié. Grâce aux conseils précieux des propriétaires, nous avons pu visiter les jolies villes de Trouville, Deauville, Honfleur et ses jardins, les petits villages typiques du pays d'Auge ainsi que la basilique de Lisieux ... Grand merci à David et Tricia.
