In the heart of the Bay of Mont Saint Michel, the Maison des Grèves is a charming stone house, adorned with a vast and restful garden planted with 2000 m2. Located on the shore, the house enjoys not overlooked, Mont Saint Michel and its Bay.
The house offers, on the ground floor, a warm living room equipped with a fitted kitchen and a wood stove. The bathroom, also on the ground floor, includes a large shower and toilet.
The first floor and its exposed stone walls give way to a large living room, with television and sofas, one of which is convertible for 2 people.
The second floor, under the roof, houses the bedroom with a bed for 2 people.

Very relaxing holiday
La Maison des Greves is a lovely property, ideal for either a relaxing break or as the focal point for visiting the many historic sites which the area has to offer. The large garden was perfectly suited to our plan to unwind for a fortnight, and the fact that it is shared with the gite next door was not a problem. The views across the bay to the Mont St Michel are spectacular. Would thoroughly recommend, although the two flights of stairs between bedroom and loo are perhaps not best suited to those who need to pay a 'visit' through the night. Look out for the 'gardener' - the automated grass-cutter - which has a habit of getting stuck under the hedge.

We loved it, very clean and exactly as described. Remote quiet location was excellent. Couple of very small suggestions. Instructions in the home in English would be helpful and as we arrived quite late a bottle of water would have been appreciated. Overall outstanding tres bon!

Lovely quiet place with far reaching views of countryside and Mont St Michel. One bedroom in attic with views to the rear. Lounge on middle floor with views of Mount, large sofas and cosy. Downstairs shower room in kitchen/diner accessed via garden. All amenities catered for. Lovely place and Francois replies regularly. Watch out for robot mower, cute. Only 10 minute drive to nearest town Avranches.

Stone cottage in the country
Just as shown and described. It was fun being in the country in an old stone cottage, watching lambs across the fence. Le Mont-Saint-Michel is visible from the windows and yard. Avranches, which is close by, is a charming small city.

Een huis met karakter. Ruime tuin met grote, hoge bomen : verkoeling buiten dus. Onverwacht ook airco binnen (was soms wel nodig tijdens die heel warme periode ; ook daar in Normandie). Netjes binnen. Mooi zicht op de Mont. Misschien wat minder praktische indeling : badkamer beneden en slaapkamer op de 2e berdieping. Maar dat is een detail.

Très bon séjour au calme, idéalement situé
Très bon séjour dans une maison à la fois simple et jolie. Très joli et grand jardin partagé avec un autre gîte mais chacun a son espace. La maison est vraiment très bien située, aux bords des prés salés. Magnifiques promenades le soir sur la route face au Mont Saint Michel et au coucher de soleil. Idéal pour découvrir les sites de la région : 20mn du Mont Saint Michel, 1h de Saint Malo, 1 heure 15 des plages du débarquement. Et surtout excellente communication avec François, avant et pendant le séjour. François est très réactif, prend le temps de répondre à nos questions et nous a donné plein de bonnes adresses en amont de notre séjour, notamment pour la balade avec un guide dans la baie! A faire! Je recommande donc ce logement.

Sehr schönes Haus und sehr netter unkomplizierter Kontakt
Das Haus von Francois ist sehr gemütlich, hat in der Küche, im Bad und in den Wohnbereichen alle Dinge, die man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht - und noch ein bisschen mehr nette Details, zum Wohlfühlen. Auch schönes Licht. Wir haben uns SEHR wohl und heimisch gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit empfehlen. Es liegt sehr ruhig und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf Mont St. Michel. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber Francois war ohne Probleme, schnell und immer freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung! Es gibt zwei sehr schöne eingebaute Alkoven unter dem Dach in der Größe von Kinderbetten. Leider hört man dort jede Bewegung des Lattenrostes. Das ist etwas schade, da sie sehr einladend und gemütlich sind. Es gibt aber auch ohne sie genug Platz.

Belle propriété
Belle propriété, bien équipée, nous avons manqué de rien! Et un hote tres réactif! Le jardin est vraiment superbe, la maison offre de beaux volumes de vie. Les petits points d'attention tout de meme : l'aérodrome est juste a côté et peut causer des nuisances des ULM qui décollent. Aussi, la maison sur plusieurs niveaux avec des escaliers etroits ne sont pas tres pratique avec un bebe en bas âge. (Barrières de sécurité disponible sur place) Malgré ca, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Ein charmantes altes Haus und tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Der große Garten lädt zum Verweilen und Spielen ein. Und der Kamin macht es wohlig warm, an kühleren Tagen. Möchte man ein wenig der Normandie oder Bretagne sehen, muss man auf jeden Fall fahren. Es lohnt sich. Supermärkte sind in der Nähe und in der nächsten Stadt gibt es einen wunderbaren Wochenmarkt. Wir sagen Danke!

Très beau gite avec un très beau jardin et une belle vue
Nous avons passé deux nuits après le Mont St Michel et avant de rejoindre la famille pour l'ascension. Nous avons passé un bon moment au calme, nous avons fait des barbecues et mangé dans le superbe jardin. Nous avons visité Avranches et le musée du scriptorium qui est fabuleux.
