This darling cozy log cabin is nestled in the woods and very private. It has a wood burning stove and all lodge fixtures and amenities you would need for a wonderful week or weekend away. It has a large yard to play yard games, build a snow man, or just for your pet to play. There is a loft with a queen bed and the main floor offers bunk beds for your smaller family members. The property also has a hot tub that is maintained weekly. 25 minutes to downtown Leavenworth or Steven’s pass, it really is the perfect location!
Driveway will be plowed for 4 inches of snow or more. We do not sand or salt the drive or roads so please come prepared or check with the local weather forecast for possible icy conditions.
We are taking extra care in this property during COVID-19. All high “touch points” (door handles, faucet handles, small appliances) receive extra attention for disinfecting. We use Zep antibacterial disinfecting and Clorox for bathroom areas. We are confidant we will be providing a safe environment for our guests. No lake access in neighborhood but the Cove Fishing area is just a short 5 minute drive and offers boat rentals and fishing bait etc.

Not a great stay
If you are older and need a good mattress, this is not the place for you. If you want to be close to town this is not the place for you. If you even want to be able to lock all the doors, this is not the place for you. The property manager responded quickly, but that does not make up for the Mountain Dew bottles scattered across the front of the property. The cornhole bags were tattered and on the lawn. There were fish that had been filleted outside on the rocks. The manager said it was a bear. However, we are constantly outdoors, and this was not a bear. Even if it was, the skin and bones had no scent and were dried out. Whoever cleans the property does not do a great job. I tried to use the toaster, and it immediately began to smoke. We left because we could not sleep on the terrible mattress in the main room. I suggest staying at another VRBO in town or the vicinity.

Comfortable but has some drawbacks
Overall, our stay was OK but the cabin has a few drawbacks. On a map, the cabin looks close to Fish Lake but it’s situated in a cluster of other cabins and homes, some of which are quite rundown. The view out the back is of a single-wide trailer and junky cars. There is no view or access to the lake. When we pulled up to the cabin, we thought it was boarded up because the owners have nailed huge pieces of scrap plywood to the entire front of the house. It looked as if the cabin was abandoned. Entry was easy enough but we were greeted to a dark, cold cabin. to make matters worse, one of the smoke detectors was chirping as if the battery was low. After searching for 30 minutes to find it, I called the property manager who told me that it’s actually the carbon monoxide detector. To be fair, the cabin is cozy at night, and it was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the layout and furnishings are nice. I rent cabins every year at Leavenworth and I’d say that there are better options for about the same money.

Fun snowmobile getaway
Even with the dismal snowfall this season, we were able to have a great weekend away at this cabin! We rode from the cabin, no trailering needed. In fact, we didn't drive anywhere for 3 days! Great days at sugarloaf and snowcone. Ride to fuel and grab a snack at midway. Comfy cabin with a great fireplace and hottub. Kitchen well stocked. Will be back!!!

Percect place to get "snowed" in.
We got snowed in (16" of snow overnight) the night before checkout. We had driven an AWD car but 16" is 16". We called the owners, they called the person responsible for plowing the driveway and they were unable to make it to the driveway before checkout time. The owners apologized for any inconvenience to us and offered another night for free in cabin. Luckily we were able to make arrangements for another vacation day from work. We waited for the plow which showed up that afternoon, made it to the little market less than a mile away, got some food and went back to enjoy our extra night at the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin and the property owners were great. This really was a nice cabin.

Great getaway
We’ve been coming to this property for years. It never disappoints whatever the season. Was pouring down rain on our weekend there, was able to use the fire and hot tub. Found all sorts of mushrooms in the neighboring forest which excited the kids. Clean and well stocked as usual. Looking forward to next visit.

Nice Cabin
Nice little cabin in the woods. Comfortably sleeps 4, well appointed kitchen, nice hot tub. Arrive during day light hours if at all possible. The location is rather remote with spotty cell service (at least for Verizon), we got a little lost finding our way back the first night after dinner, but just backtracked and went super slow until we found the turn. The location is exceptionally quiet, perfect for a getaway from the city. Would stay again.

Beautiful area - great yard
We enjoyed out two nights at the cabin. Very nice area and close to lakes. We found a hike close to / on Wenatchee Lake that was easy and beautiful! ( Had to drive to trailhead). Home was clean and well stocked. Main bedroom with double bed is upstairs with bathroom downstairs. It was fine for us but may be difficult for some in middle of night. Grass area was great with lots of games to play. Very relaxing and homey place.

Beautiful log cabin with modern appliances, satelite TV and internet. Air-conditioning useful for summer months. Lots of board and yard games. Quiet neighborhood. Close to fishing, hiking and watersports. Will definitely stay here if we plan to stay in the area again.

Mushroom Hunting Weekend
We had a wonderful quiet stay here at this nicely stocked cabin. There were many unexpected extras and the yard was well maintained and provided additional spaces to spend time in relaxing. It was nice to be away from the bustle of Leavenworth and yet be close enough to enjoy some of the amenities. We hiked and were successful in getting Morels and also found La Javelina to be a little gem of a restaurant in town!! We will definately stay here again!!

Great stay with no surprises
Very nice home with everything we would need including a well supplied kitchen which was nice. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and reasonable. The grassy yard was perfect for setting up a dog run and playing with the pups and the nearby road was calm enough to go for walks on. The only surprise was how many mosquitoes there were outside, highly recommend strong bug spray. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Perfect log cabin with all the amenities one may need including a very well stocked kitchen. Great location for visiting state parks, Leavenworth and Stevens Pass. Hot tub a nice treat after long days exploring. I highly recommend this property!

Quiet Weekend
We had made reservations to stay at our regular summer vacation location only to realize after packing up the car and the kids that we had the dates wrong. We'd always wanted to visit Leavenworth, WA, and saw this place was available, but it was too late to reserve for that night. We kept driving and sent the hosts a message hoping we could stay there that night. They responded quickly and we were able get is that night. We had a lovely stay, and it worked really well for our family of 4. We only have 1 bath in our home so we were used to taking turns. The bed was comfortable, and the cabin was cozy. There were a lot of mosquitoes so bring some repellent if you're planning on being outside.
